| On January 16, 2020, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel visited Socialstyrelsen (The National Board of Health and Welfare) in Stockholm. The National Board of Health and Welfare in Sweden is a government agency under the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs. It has a wide range of activities and many different duties in the fields such as social services, health and medical services, patient safety and epidemiology. Like the blue velvet and as afara s I can see the trousers and boots nearly meet up this time giving a much more streamlined look. I like most of the pussy bow blouses worn by Victoria but think a plain bright sweater or even the blue spotted blouse worn last week would be an improvement on this somewhat uninspiring choice.

Blue velvet suit, yes! She looks great. Those earrings are gorgeous also. I like that it's the suit that stands out, the blouse and shoes are just accessories to it.

Could almost say that it's a "his and hers" model of the same suit. The colour, of what I call "midnight blue", is a favourite of mine. The Swedish designed earings complements the outfit.

ReplyDeleteThere is hardly anything attractive about those short pants, it makes legs look short and stubby. The clunky boots are better inside long wide-bottom pants. I notice Daniel will be in Davos next week. ~Rose~

ReplyDeleteShe wears the suit and the color well. But a pretty ivory blouse with a mock neck collar edged with just a bit of lace and button in the back would have accentuated the suit so much better, IMHO.

ReplyDeleteThe gorgeous blue of the suit, the earrings, the white blouse, and even the strap of her bag, create a more feminine look than other pants suits Princess Victoria has worn of late. She looks very pretty. I note that since the "official" royal family of Sweden has been reduced, Daniel is seen more frequently at events. It is nice to see them working together.
ReplyDeleteYes they always seem to work well together but I wish Daniel could change, from time to time, his cut and polished bridegroom on top of the wedding cake look. There must be some "official" occasions when he can dress down a bit. Otherwise he is a great plus to his wife and country. Princess Victoria made a good choice.
