| On January 29, 2020, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden visited Höganäs in Skåne County. The visit focused on business issues. The Crown Princess and the Prince made visits to companies in Höganäs and also a visit to the Ceramic Center. Höganäs is nationally known for its ceramics industry. ReplyDelete@monty: Yes, Victoria is always ready to try something new & exciting. Daniel, on the other hand, is not particularly well dressed for a turn at making pottery; but hopefully his suit & watch came through unscathed.

DeleteThat photo is wonderful! I really do like these two. When I see photos like this I always think back to Daniel's speech at their wedding reception. [Sigh, swoon. lol] What he said about her was so lovely and romantic and when you see photos like this of them it reminds you of why he fell love with her - he didn't fall in love with a princess, he fell in love with just a regular nice girl who just happen to be a princess. :-)

ReplyDeleteOnce again, I love how engaged the Crown Princess is on her visits. I do like the blazer, but am not a fan of the whole suit, just my opinion. I'm not sure if it's the cut of the pants or the print, but something is throwing it off for me. However, I love the handbag, such a gorgeous accessory, earrings too.

Victoria is mostly modestly dressed.I think she is so much growing into her position of future queen; , in a very natural way she earns respect, and clothes are in that case not so important anymore.

I like the colour on her very much, and her accessories are perfect. I’m still not a fan of double-breasted jackets though - they often look bulky when done up, and sloppy when worn open. (V.M.)

ReplyDeleteCP Victoria is always so engaging and enthusiastic, she seems to make the most of every visit. This is so refreshing. I love her handbag, but her drop pearl earrings are gorgeous. A wonderful visit.
ReplyDeleteAgreed Ava. Regardless of how privileged her life might be, it most be difficult sometimes to be "up" for some of these appearances, day after day. But she seems to take the attitude of, "Well, let me pay attention and take the opportunity to learn something new and perhaps we will have a bit of fun along the way." That attitude can make all the difference and make the experience enjoyable for every one.

To recap, she's a loved princess that does good work and is very admired. But, she has bad taste in clothes, looks very matronly and her hair pulled tightly in a bun doesn't help.
ReplyDeleteThe suit is ok, but would be much better just apart. A nice beige/nude sweater to the pants and a one colored brownish slacks to the jacket would have been way better in my eyes. Together the suit is just to much.
