Yesterday evening, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel attended a dinner with high school students from all over Skåne, who run companies within the framework of the Young Enterprise. The dinner was hosted by Anneli Hulthen, Governor of Region Skåne at Governor's residence in Malmö. (Crown Princess Victoria wore a metallic brocade skirt by Baum und Pferdgarten, and a black silk blouse by Rodebjer.) |
It fits her very well, I like it
ReplyDeleteI´m relieved to see no bow-blouse, no ankle boots, no weird frills or crazy patterns.
ReplyDeleteVictoria looks great here, by her standard of late, and while I´m not necessarily a fan of that shiny metallic skirt, I think she did well in combining it with only one other colour and keeping accessories to a minimum. That being said, I think she needed a smaller size of the skirt (for the right fit) and had better combined it with a slim-fitting top (for the right silhouette).

DeleteGood observations Vanessa. Good advice and I hope Princess Victoria has the time to read it.
DeleteThe outfit was lovely, fit her beautifully, accented her personality and was great for the occasion. Daniel looked handsome as ever.
ReplyDeleteI like the blouse can't decide on the skirt, too shiny almost like crinkled foil paper. But Victoria can pull it off.
ReplyDeleteI like it but the top needs something. A pin with a bit of sparkle? Something. With it being all solid black it sort of makes her look like a disembodied head floating about the room.
ReplyDeleteEuropa.
Ce chemisier avec une jupe crayon dans le même tissu et couleur serait très seyant !
ReplyDeleteVery nice. The sparkling skirt is greatly put together with the other black clothes and perfect for someone having dark hair so the skirt's fabric is the only attraction on her body.
ReplyDeleteJust now that so many of our royals wear winter dresses or skirts it often strikes me that legs look much better with either long black boots or dark tights.

Gorgeous skirt. I like this styling variant. CPV is one of my style twins (doesn't everybody have at least one Royal style twin?) and although you could play with top texture or proportion, this works well for the TPO aka time / place / occasion.

CP Victoria looks terrific. I am not a fan of shiny metallic skirts but she looks great in this combined ensemble. Love the blouse, but the little black clutch is divine, I love it!
ReplyDeleteBooooring...the blouse and skirt are good on their own, but together just boring.
ReplyDeleteNot my favourite CP Victoria outfit but much much better than recent ones with the short trousers and strange boots. Like the colour of the skirt and the colour combo--maybe a scarf or a necklace for the top? Overall, a good if not great, look.
