Au moins cette fois elle ne porte pas de chapeau !!!
ReplyDeleteWithout the ridiculous sleeves iT would be A lovely dress in A good colour with excellent hair!
ReplyDeleteagree 100%
DeleteTotally agree!! She doesn't look good in the trumpet sleeves. Hope she won't wear this dress again.
DeleteYes totally agree, no sleeves. Pls Maxima keep it simple
DeleteThat´s a ridiculous outfit for visiting a hospital, but thank god she has left her usual headpiece behind on that occassion.
ReplyDeleteAgreed! dress suited for a state visit
DeleteIn my view overdressed once more
ReplyDeleteShe is such a special person! God bless her!
ReplyDeleteQueen Maxima looks perfect.
ReplyDeleteGreat color. Q Maxima looks fantastic, once again.
ReplyDeleteWhen I first started seeing pics of this visit, I saw her from the waist up. Her hair was pulled back which was an improvement and it looked nice. Then I saw the blue dress and thought how nice she looks in this color. Then...I saw the ridiculous balloon sleeves. What a way to ruin a dress and a look.

Agree. I had the same thought seeing this .
DeleteI thought ok, she got it right today. Hair styled nicely, lovely blue dress, then I saw those ugly sleeves.
ReplyDeleteSleeves are not ugly but not appropriate for the event.

Nice and fun dress, but the colour is a real eyesore... However, she looks happy and relaxed, which is always the most important thing.

Perfect colour, perfect hair, perfect big smile.
ReplyDeleteA fun dress for the kids, made her magical. She looked perfect and the kids all looked absolutely precious.
ReplyDeleteI agree, without those sleeves that dress would be just another boring blue dress. I'm sure the kids appreciated this playful outfit. - Siri
DeleteI am not too fussed by the sleeves. The dress looks fine and the lack of hat and accessories downplays the voluminous sleeve detail for a medical centre visit. I think that she looks pretty good overall, and is relaxed, happy and engaged which is important for this particular visit.

one of her best dresses, I love it.
ReplyDeleteBut I didn't like the coat she was wearing with it.
The dress is lovely, just not the sleeves. Colour is beautiful. The fit and length is perfect. Hair looks terrific here, neat and tidy. I can forget about the sleeves when I see the light and energy and lightbulb smiles she brings to this visit, Pediatric Oncology. A fantastic Center. Looking at the Queen in the 2nd photo with the children just melted my heart, the expression on her face, speaks volumes. Yes she can be forgiven for the sleeves, definitely. Adorable children, my best wishes for health and Xmas cheer to all.
ReplyDeleteCe sont des manches « tulipe « la Hollande est le pays de la tulipe .
ReplyDeleteGood point! Never thought of it. I quite like the dress and it fits her perfectly. Including personality wise.

I think this a very good dress for the occasion. Children will love ths dress: a real Queen or even better a real princess.
ReplyDeleteThis must have been a very hard day for Queen Maxima. The pictures of these seriously ill little ones will surely follow her for a long time. And Maxima, on the other side, is defenitely the right person to cheer them all a bit up, and this dress was part of the cheering-up-show.

While I do not like Maxima's dress, I agree that the children probably loved it. If that was the Queen's intent, then kudos to her.
DeleteJ'adore cette couleur de robe qui serait mieux sans les manches ; j'aime beaucoup les boucles d'oreilles pas trop grosses, c'est parfait avec ses cheveux attachés !!!
ReplyDeleteLovely dress. Love the color.
