Queen Mathilde visited the Royal Conservatory of Brussels

On December 12, 2019, Queen Mathilde visited the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. During the visit, a round table meeting was held and the Queen received information about the academic music education of young musicians given by means of diversity, excellence, art and metropolitan multiculturalism. Then, the Queen attended a piano Master class. After a brief explanation in the heritage library, the Queen attended a rehearsal of a musical. The Musical study program is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. (Queen Mathilde wore a new blazer by Giorgio Armani.)

    It looks like beautiful fabric, as you might expect from Armani. I don’t think the style is very flattering though - the stance is so wide it really emphasizes the chest area. And the very light coloured top underneath doesn’t help either. I do love her earrings though, so simple and modern. (V.M.)

    What a treat to see Queen Mathilde in this lovely outfit. The blazer, with its metallic russet design, perfectly matches her skirt. Blazers and jackets of this style suit her very well. Her earrings are interesting.

    The jacket is lovely, the skirt less so---looks too bulky to be flattering. Gorgeous colour.

    I find the jacket so-so. However, what I find very flattering lately is her hairstyle.

    Très joli modèle de veste qui est flatteuse pour la reine... Il s'accorde bien avec la jupe ; avec un pantalon, cela peut être également chic !!!

    Wow, this outfit is so pretty! Absolutely adorable. The colors and textures combine two of my favorite things on Mathilde: warm autumnal hues and a hint of metallic sheen (in the jacket). And the neckline and proportions are super-flattering. Would have preferred different earrings, though.
