On December 6, 2019, Queen Mathilde of Belgium visited Queen Fabiola Children's University Hospital (Universitair Kinderziekenhuis Koningin Fabiola) in Laeken, Brussels. Inaugurated in 1986, Queen Fabiola Children's University Hospital is the only Belgian university hospital entirely reserved for children's medicine. During the visit, the Queen received information about the specificities of the hospital at the dialysis unit, the intensive care unit and the new operating room with high-tech robotics. |
A bit too reddish... for me..., Father Christmas could be jealous.
ReplyDeleteAdorable Mathilde, lumineuse toute de rouge vêtue parmi les enfants ; craquant le petit bout sur la quatrième photo !!!
ReplyDeleteQueen Mathilde in red like Santa Claus, looking very good. The Pant Suit is very appropriate and Handbag and Shoes complete it nicely. The Queen looks very happy interacting with the Kid's.
ReplyDeleteLovely Lady-in-red!
ReplyDeleteQ Mathilde looks great, love this suit. She also made a new friend . Great interaction with the children.
ReplyDeleteThe pant suit fits Queen Mathilde very well, and the color is festive which is appropriate for the season and the event. This is one of her better looks in recent weeks. I enjoy the photos of the children are very sweet.
ReplyDeleteIn Belgium and the Netherlands the 6th of december is the feast of Saint Nicholas, patron saint of children.
ReplyDeleteSaint Nicholas is one of the sources of the popular Christmas icon of Santa Claus.
At least in Belgium and the Netherlands, St. Nicholas is for children, and not commercialized as Christmas like in North America. I have been in Canada for 63 years, and each year I hate "Christmas" more. It is so commercialized that it has absolutely no meaning as a religious feast.
DeleteBeautiful. Love her dearly. Such a wonderful role model.

A wonderful visit, for staff and patients, I can only imagine how it lifted their spirits. The Queen looks lovely in red, very festive for this time of year. She looked lovely.
ReplyDeleteVERY BEAUTIFUL WITH THIS RED TAILLEUR
ReplyDeleteQueen Mathilde looks very nice in red. However what is really beautiful is that smile. So sincere and catching!
ReplyDeleteA la reina Matilde le queda muy bien el conjunto rojo,me asombra la empatía que tiene con los pacientes,y todas las personas que la rodean;GRAN REINA
