ReplyDeleteI like the black dress on her. Even though it’s quite voluminous she has the height to carry it off. I’m not so sure about the green off the shoulder tee though. The colour is fabulous on her, but I think it’s a bit too casual. She is after all representing Monaco at the event, and not just attending as a private spectator. I would have paired the green trousers with a silk shirt in the same colour. (V.M.)

DeleteAgree, only because of her height she can get away with it. The green top terrible in my opinion.
DeleteAnd although is not fashion is so clear she is taking her distance with Monaco and her duties to the county, except when sports related.
Is just gossip I know but her choices and lack of smiles/sympathy is feeding the gossip. Wish her wisdom in her doing

ReplyDeleteI like the black dress on the model, but it looks rather “blah” on Charlene (granted that the photo does not show the dress very well). The neckline totally begs for a statement necklace, given the luxe venue and Charlene’s position as Princess of Monaco.

ReplyDeleteI think she looks great in both outfits. I like the black dress - maybe a bold necklace or a bright lipstick would have added a bit of pop but I still like it.

ReplyDeleteI applaud her for doing what she likes to do.She loves sports, and I think that Caroline is more than happy to taker over at any Monaco events, she loves to act like 1st lady of Monaco and that must make Charlene very uncomfortable. Great evening look, not so great the one with the khaki top.

DeleteWe see very little of Caroline nowadays - she deals with her stuff that she has always been in charge of (and really isn't in Charlene's sphere of interest), and occasionally turns up to support her brother.
Charlene does her thing - she's in Dubai for her Foundation (not a holiday as some are suggesting) and so Caroline has gone with Albert, who has in the past been accompanied by his cousin.
Charlene never used to feel uncomfortable when she had a full diary in Monaco before the twins were born. She's the one who has stepped back - she doesn't even turn up for all the things she's patron of...

DeleteIf a picture paints a thousand words, I think there is something wrong in Monaco. Before reading the comments I wondered if Charlene whispered to some of the athletes that she is trapped in a gilded cage. Charlene looks lovely and relaxed in the khaki top and the color is divine on her. Carrie
