| Today, Princess Catharina-Amalia celebrates her 16th birthday. Catharina-Amalia Beatrix Carmen Victoria, the Princess of Orange, Princess of the Netherlands, is the eldest daughter of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima. On the occasion of that birthday, Government Information Service (RVD) published a new photo of Princess Catharina-Amalia. The photo was taken by King Willem-Alexander, this autumn. |
| The Princess was born in The Hague on 7 December 2003. The Princess of Orange lives with her parents and sisters Princess Alexia and Princess Ariane at Huis ten Bosch Palace in The Hague. She attends the Christelijk Gymnasium Sorghvliet in The Hague. Since the inauguration of King Willem-Alexander in April 2013, Catharina-Amalia has been known as the Princess of Orange.
