On December 6, 2019, Prince Albert II of Monaco and Princess Caroline of Hanover attended the opening of "The Christmas village of Monaco 2019" at Hercule Harbour in Monaco. This year, Christmas Village celebrates its 20th anniversary and was set up with the theme "White Christmas" for 2019. The Christmas village has been organized by the Service Animation of the Mairie de Monaco since 1999. The Christmas village will be open to 5 January. The Christmas village has chalets selling crafts and offers regional food and drink specialities. There is also a traditional carousel, ice rink, kiddies' train ride, craft workshops, street entertainers and family shows. |
Do hope her cozy is faux
ReplyDeleteHSH Charlene no show again
Charlene est à Dubai pour soutenir l'équipe monégasque de rugby, soutenue par sa Fondation
DeleteCharlene is still in Dubai.
DeleteOh dear...
DeleteCharlene is in South Africa doing engagements. While I get that she could do more, people forget she isn’t a British royal. Monaco isn’t like other countries, they don’t have taxpayers to please or major social issues to address
DeleteL’équipe de Monaco n’est pas sélectionnée, elle soutient l’Afrique de Sud .
DeleteJC December 7, this is NOT fur at all. This is a trench coat.
DeleteMyriam Les Impis est l'équipe de rugby à 7 de Monaco et non d'Afrique du Sud
DeleteKoninklijke Hoogheid, absolute klasse, zo hoort het.
ReplyDeleteMijn complimenten!
Where is Charlene, is she sick. She rarely supports anything. Look at the other royals going about supporting all the different foundations. Why is she rarely seen. Mmm 🤔
ReplyDeleteCharlene is still in Dubai.
DeleteThanks for the update.
DeleteSuperbe Caroline.. J'aime particulièrement son manteau ; très chic... J'aurais bien voulu voir les petits princes !!!

ReplyDeleteLovely fur coat. However, Caroline is now First lady of Monaco again since Charlene is slowly withdrawing from her duties 😕
ReplyDeleteI don't understand anything anymore in connection with Princess Charlene and Monaco. Would be nice if an official statement could be made.
DeleteI share your feelings, deadeggs...although I’d like to think there is nothing seriously amiss, the increasingly noticeable non-involvement of Charlene (including her seeming indifference/unhappiness when she does appear) in Monaco is becoming difficult to explain away.
DeleteLike the whole outfit. Sometime she really is spot on.
ReplyDeleteNo Charlene?
ReplyDeleteCharlene is in Dubai, enjoying sportive events...
DeleteCharlene is in Dubai, supporting a South African rugby team. Have a look at Noblesses et Royautés.
DeleteLizzie, do you see Charlene? No, you do not. Thus, she is not there. Yes, she was in Dubai. Do your own investigation before judging others.
DeleteRachel
No, Charlene is in Dubaï with her brother for a rugby competition.
ReplyDeleteHer brother is General Secretary of the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation. Charlene is in Dubai for her Foundation.
DeleteCaroline is in fact first lady of Monaco..... and she has the class, style and makes the effort.

DeleteI really do admire Caroline a lot. She has been through some difficult times and yet when she is in public she appears gracious and happy to be there.
I would like to see her out and about more. She has a great deal of experience that could be put to good use.
Now, as for Charlene, I don't think there is anything wrong with her appearing less in public. She has two small children to raise and that should be her top priority. Royal biographies are replete with stories of how royal children barely knew their parents and were left in the care of household staff. Many grew up battling emotional issues. It's more important for a royal mother to devote her time to her children so they may grow up and provide stability to the continuation of the royal houses. This is the time the rest of the family can step in and lend support. And I believe today's royal families are paying attention to the problems of the past.
Love this time of year. Nice to see Caroline at this event - it's been a few years since she was there. Normally we see Albert, Charlene and Elisabeth de Massy. Love Caroline's coat which doesn't look like real fur to me - she has another which belonged to Princess Grace which possibly is.
ReplyDeleteCharlene is in Dubai for her Foundation so not true to say she isn't around. Just not in Monaco at the moment.

Great look for Caroline, and a fun look. She is such a classy lady. Lovely to see her at this event!

P. Caroline has such innate elegance doesn’t she? I think in part it’s her wonderful posture and gracious manner. I love this outfit on her - it’s a simple column of colour topped by a fun coat. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteLovely to see Caroline out supporting Albert. She looks happy and very engaged. Wonderful
ReplyDeletehet is heel moeilijk om iedereen naar zijn zin te maken .
ReplyDeletemaar als ze samen ,maar gelukkig zijn , en ze ziet er weer vlot uit !!!
Caroline was always dedicated to the family AND did her royal duties. I don’t remember her eschew from duties when she has three little kids. We can argue both ways, but the mere fact that so many of us have to wonder about Charlene’s attitude and questionable appearances says something. It means at least some of us feel there’s something unusual going on. She nearly never smiles at monégasque events but is happy to hug all sorts of race drivers and other sportsmen. Many thought that Rainier should have gone the route of primogeniture, I am inclined to say that in hindsight it would have worked better for the Principality.
ReplyDeleteLily A
Lily A: Albert seems to be dedicated as well, and primogeniture would have presented Monaco with Ernst instead of Charlene, at least for 10 years....
