On December 4, 2019, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde celebrated the 20th anniversary of their marriage. On the occasion of that wedding anniversary, the Royal Palace released new photos of the King and Queen, taken at Chateau de Laeken. The King and Queen got married on December 4 with both a civil ceremony and a religious ceremony. The civil ceremony took place at Brussels City Hall. Afterwards, the religious ceremony, which was attended by 1200 guests, was held at the Cathedral of St Michel.

King Philippe and Queen Mathilde have four children, namely, Crown Princess Elisabeth, Prince Gabriel, Prince Emmanuel, and Princess Eléonore.

    Both of them look wonderful in the first photo where you can see the top half of them. The colour coordination between both of them, and then with the background, is wonderful. The second photo when you can see their full outfits is less pleasing to me, but they look happy and are enjoying their pets. Congratulations and best wishes to them.

    The 1st photo is gorgeous, Mathilde looks beautiful. Love her blazer with the autumnal tree in the background. Her hair and makeup are perfect. The 2nd pic is just an awkward angle I think, but love the dogs included.

    I've always loved autumnal colors on Mathilde -- and as for Philippe, what a handsome man! These photos, showing him without his customary glasses, remind me of the devastatingly attractive young prince of years ago :-). Congratulations to this lovely couple.
