| King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia are making a State visit to India on December 2-6, 2019 at the invitation of President Ram Nath Kovind. The King and Queen arrived in New Delhi. President Ram Nath Kovind and Mrs Savita Kovind welcomed the King and Queen with an official ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Afterwards, the King and Queen laying wreath at the Samadhi of Mahatma Gandhi, at Rajghat. Then, the King and Queen visited the Great Mosque of Jama Masjid and the Red Fort. The day ended with a state banquet in the presidential palace. |
I don’t love this blue lace dress...looks a bit like a mother of the bride outfit to me. But the colour is gorgeous on Q. Silvia, and her hair and make up are lovely too. (V.M.)

DeleteThe colorful plaid of Mrs. Kovind's sari is gorgeous and festive. Queen Silvia's arrival suit is very pretty, from what can be seen, and her hair is styled nicely. I very much like her brooch, necklace and hat (hair ornament) in the next group of pictures, but I think her blue lace dress is too short.
ReplyDeleteQueen Silvia ist wie immer geschmackvoll angezogen und gestylt. Sie trägt auch oft klassische Kostüme, was heute eher selten ist. Ich wünsche mir ein comeback desselben. Das blaue Kleid gefällt mir auch, obwohl ich ansonsten nicht für komplette Spitzenkleider schwaerme. Auch sollte es meiner Meinung nach etwas länger sein.
ReplyDeleteJ'aime beaucoup la première photo... La reine porte un ensemble très chic ; ses cheveux sont naturellement coiffés.. Sur les photos suivantes, je n'aime pas la robe bleue en dentelle !!!

ReplyDeleteNot sure I like the lace dress for an airport arrival, looks a little too 'dressy'. The cap/ornament sitting on the side of her head leaves me baffled. It looks odd, like a waiter's small cap. The evening outfits color looks ok, with no clear photo, it makes it hard to see the details of the dress.
