On December 12, 2019, The Duchess of Cornwall hosted children's christmas party at Clarence House in London, England. The Duchess invited seriously and terminally ill children from "Helen & Douglas House" and "Roald Dahl Charity" to Clarence House, for a Christmas lunch and activities that included decorating a christmas tree and meeting reindeer. Helen & Douglas House helps families cope with the challenges of looking after a terminally ill baby, child or young adult. The Duchess of Cornwall is the patron of Helen & Douglas House and Roald Dahl Charity. |
Ich finde sie einfach super-sympathisch.
ReplyDeleteSie ist immer dem Anlass entsprechend gekleidet und es passt einfach immer perfekt zu ihr. Frieda
Okay, I'm not always a Camilla fan but this seems like a really great charity and she looks very good in the red/fuchsia and black ensemble.

Fully agree
DeleteRed is a wonderful colour on D. Camilla. She’s worn this style of dress before, and it’s very flattering to her figure. I see the black cape/jacket is back....it’s okay here but still not my favourite look. Overall though these are lovely photos of a very worthwhile event. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteShe looks wonderfull, seems to have found a designer who understands what suits her.
ReplyDeleteShe is really wonderfull with people.
Agree!
DeleteAbsolutely! She is certainly hitting her stride lately in the fashion department.

I believe the Duchess does this every Christmas. I admire her greatly for inviting these children into her home and showering them with attention, letting them decorate her tree, and providing them with Christmas snacks, and the fun of seeing a reindeer upclose and personal! I believe she is a very compassionate person. Fashion-wise, I think she looks terrific in her red dress and black boots.
ReplyDeleteFabulous dress. I like the duchess, because she never wants to draw attention to herself but to all her wonderful charities
DeleteI agree. She is wonderful around people as well as around animals. I like her outfit a lot. Such a wonderful charity event! I am a fan.
DeleteAdore this beautiful red dress, though I would prefer it without the opaque tights. The raggedy black jacket--is it the exact same as Queen Letizia was wearing the other day?--is just pointless. It can't provide any warmth and doesn't improve the look so why bother? Canilla still looks superb.
ReplyDeleteI remember this from last year also, I think, this is a really, really wonderful engagement! How lovely how they decorate the christmas tree and the reindeers, that's really cute! One of my favourite engagements I think.
ReplyDeleteCamilla looks fantastic, younger and fresh in this outfit, it's a big WOW.
I love the dress, the shape, the colour and it fits perfect with the black tights. I want that outfit, too :-)
This is a fantastic wonderful event and I am so glad the children are able to go and enjoy the day. The Duchess looks very festive in red. The Xmas tree and goodies the children are eating looks divine. Queen Letizia has a jacket similar to the one The Duchess is wearing only longer in length.
ReplyDeleteI believe Camilla was the one who inaugurated this annual event. She seems to love being around children and animals - and she looks very nice here as well. She also added the reindeer for them to enjoy. And that's a huge bearskin hat for a young boy, it's as long as his torso! Poor kids - I'm thankful for my health.

I actually like the cape, it combines well with the boots. If only she would wear a proper and well fitted brassiere.
ReplyDeleteCe rouge lui va à merveille mais des collants gris-clair se marieraient mieux surtout avec les bottes !!!

ReplyDeleteCamilla's hair looks really beautifully conditioned and styled here...something a little different about it, not sure what -- maybe a slightly warmer color? Anyway, it looks really wonderful. The dress is perfect for a daytime Christmas-themed event. Black pumps with semisheer hose would look sooo much better with it than the heavy black tights and boots, though (I know she was going outside for the reindeer meet-and-greet, but...someone could help her change into wellies when the time came, couldn't they? 😁). Wonderful event, true caring and I admire the Duchess for supporting these charities in such a personal way.
ReplyDeleteIt is fantastic, that this event is hosted every year. Great charity. I think Camilla enjoy's herself, doing this. Very lovely dress.
