On December 19, 2019, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit visited the pediatric ward at Drammen Hospital in in Buskerud. The Crown Prince couple met a family who has lived in the department for the past 10 weeks. Drammen Hospital (Drammen sjukehus) is a general hospital. It is the largest hospital which is part of Vestre Viken Hospital Trust, part of the Southern and Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority. (Crown Princess Mette Marit wore a cashmere coat by Burberry.)

    She also wore a Burberry pleated midi skirt and she looks great. After what I can read about this event they first visited the neonatal ward where they was orientated on the concept of Family Integrated Care, where the goal is that the parents of the newborn who must spend extra time in the newborn ward can stay in the same room as the newborn. Here the parents live with the child for as long as necessary. Here they met a family who have lived with their newborn at the hospital for 10 weeks. Then they went to spend time with the kids and their family at the childrens ward where they had a Christmas workshop.
