On December 14, 2019, Crown Prince Akishino and Crown Princess Kiko visited Peace Memorial Park in the city of Itoman in Okinawa Prefecture. The Crown Prince and Crown Princess also visited the Okinawa Senseki Quasi-National Park. In Itoman, the Crown Prince couple also visited the Okinawa Prefecture Agricultural Research Center. On Sunday, the couple attended a national green festival in the Okinawa city of Ginowan and then visited the site of Shuri Castle, a symbol of the prefecture that was destroyed by a fire on Oct. 31. The couple returned to Tokyo later in the day. |
Depressing! i thought she had modernised her wardrobe at some point.
ReplyDeleteditto on her outfit and he still is in need of a proper haircut
Deleteproper haircut!? Don't forget she has been wearing a hat part of the time, not helpful for a nice hairstyle...
DeleteMaryT, I believe anonymous 6:00 pm, stated HE, not she. He did not have his hair cut nicely on a recent trip overseas, and it kept falling in his face. :)
DeleteWe really miss the beautiful Shuri Castle.
ReplyDeleteIt was a terrible fire accident. So sad.
Tenue et bijoux bien harmonisés mais alors, le chapeau ne risque pas de nous surprendre agréablement !!!
ReplyDeleteShe looks simple but lovely!
ReplyDeleteVery reliable Wardrobe of the Pss. Elegant not much change.
ReplyDeleteI think she looks good in both outfits. They are flattering colours for her and nicely accessorized. There’s no need to ‘modernize’ one’s style to suit Western sensibilities. ( V.M.)

DeleteI couldn't agree more. They have their traditions. One thing is for certain, the tailoring of their clothing is exquisite.
She looks lovely in both outfits, beautifully groomed. Love her pearl accessories.
