One of those events was a 100 Women in Finance (100WF) business breakfast. The Countess of Wessex also met the Governor General of Canada, Julie Payette. The Countess, who is Patron of both Hospitals, met with patients. In addition, The Countess received information about the use of technology and innovation, including robotic surgery, in the hospital. |

It is actually what the initial description of the visit said. Don’t jump if you’re late reading it. It has been corrected afterwards. So you haven’t seen the original. While one cannot be expected to know everything about the locations royals visit, and some easily confuse Canada and it’s federal system with the US, it’s slightly usual to not have heard about a city with over 2.5 million people

ReplyDeleteThe white blouse is glorious -- I'd have preferred it without the ruffle at the wrists, but that is a minor quibble. Sophie looks beautiful in it. The black dress is also very flattering to her, but to me it seems more like a cocktail dress than something to wear visiting patients in the hospital.
