On November 8, 2019, Queen Margrethe II attended the opening of the special exhibition 'Germany' displayed at The National Museum of Denmark. The exhibition opened on the occasion of the Danish-German Cultural Friendship Year 2020. The exhibition includes objects that have changed the course of history or that bear witness to triumphs and tragedies in the history of Germany. The exhibition is organized by a collaboration between the British Museum and the National Museum of Denmark. |

ReplyDeleteKönigin Margarethe sieht sehr elegant aus für diesen schönen Anlass der deutsch dänischen Freundschaft. Mir hat es besonders die Farbe angetan, auch der passende Hut dazu gefällt mir. Das Oberteil ist großzügig geschnitten, was aber bei uns älteren Damen eher vorteilhaft wirkt. Die Schultertasche gefällt mir auch, lustig wie sie über dem Rücken hängt, als wenn sie der Königin im Wege wäre!

ReplyDeleteQueen Margarethe is lovely in purple. Love the skirt and matching top, but the brooch appears to be a bit too heavy for the fabric. As always, she goes about her queenly duties with grace and exuberance. She is one of my favorites!
