| On November 12, Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie visited the Salon 2019 of the Luxembourg Art Circle (CAL) at Tramsschapp Culture Center, which took place as part of the fifth edition of the Luxembourg Art Week. The fifth edition of Luxembourg Art Week is being held from November 8 to 19 at Halle Victor Hugo in CAL. The Hereditary Grand Duchess met with many artists whose works are shown in the exhibition. ReplyDeleteThe most attractive feature of HGD Stephanie's appearance is her radiant smile and her obvious enjoyment of the event. I like the coat and it pairs well with her trousers. Her make-up and jewelry are minimal, and her hair is less styled than in recent pictures. She certainly seems happier these days.

ReplyDeleteStephanie has got visibly uneven shoulders (look at the 2nd picture). That's why nothing off the rack ever fits her. The fabric pulls badly on her right upper arm and strains around the button. Sadly, she wears an ill fitting bra underneath, so her breasts are in different levels.
DeleteShe needs bespoke clothes, a good seamstress or tailor could do wonders for her.
Tastes differ (I'm sure she likes the clothes she buys), but a woman in her position and with her resources shouldn't wear such poorly fitting clothes at official engagements.

DeleteHer arms are uneven, one is longer. It would be so easy to adjust the sleeves - I could do it! But I guess she does not care, she is pretty enough anyway! And she can dress a bit casually if she feels good that way, when she is the Grand Duchess she just must conform. Hope she still has many years of relative freedom.
DeleteI’ve come to the conclusion she doesn’t care about fashion or how she looks. It’s unfortunate but she looks happy so it’s her choice .

I would be soooooo happy either. I think she wants to look pretty but maybe she gets hormone treatment, gains weight on and on and makes her feel uncomfortable... Btw in HGD Guillaume should get some style tips either!! If you look at his brother...

Duchess Stephanie in yellow again. A difficult colour to wear for many people, she seems to really like it and it looks ok., but not great IMO. I do wonder about the fit..seems too tight around the bust, and, as Anja put's it,

I am guessing yes (per my comment below); a couple of these photos suggest to me that she is. Without an announcement, though, it's down to guesswork (from which I can't seem to refrain 🙂). I'm a Stephanie fan and it's hard to be patient...

DeleteIf a baby is what they want, I hope with all my heart that it is in the stars for them. I thought when they moved to London that a bit of peace and quiet without people staring at her midriff all the time would be good. But in their position it is hard to avoid speculations. Also, if they need medical help, it must be easier abroad, so... I really hope she is pregnant. She is so nice!

ReplyDeleteOK, in the ninth photo (3rd from last, I think it would be), showing her hands clasped in front of her, it seems to me that our lovely Hereditary Grand Duchess must either be pregnant or hiding a watermelon under her coat. (Sorry if that sounds crass 🙂). Fashion-wise, I think it is a very pretty coat -- it could use a bit more ease in the upper part of the slevves -- and it works really well with the black pants and handbag.

DeleteYes, I do, certainly. But judging from various recent photos of Stephanie, there seems to me to be no alternative explanation for the obvious bulge here, which has caused her to leave the coat's lower button undone. Perhaps it is a matter of simple weight gain, but if so it has been a very rapid weight gain indeed. Some people are hesitant to make announcements, feeling that to do so might in some way be "bad luck". If Stephanie and Guillaume are expecting, perhaps that is the reason nothing has been said. But obviously this is mere guesswork, and of course guesswork can be overdone.
DeleteIt’s a gorgeous colour but not the best fit as others have noted - pulling across the bust and tight through the arms. Her hair looks wonderful though! (V.M.)
