On November 20, 2019, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and Prince Daniel of Sweden attended the opening night of "&Juliet" which is a 2019 musical featuring the music of Max Martin (Karl Martin Sandberg), with a book by David West Read, at the Shaftesbury Theatre in London. The story focuses on "what if" Juliet hadn't killed herself at the end of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Crown Princess Victoria wore a dress from Giambattista Valli x H&M Designer Collaboration collection. |
Wow! This is an incredible appearance, both look just great.
ReplyDeleteAgree. Wish we could ee a picture of the dress without the jacket.

I think the dress is nice, the jacket A bit too heavy on this dress.
ReplyDeleteHe is underdressed without A tie when his lady is So nicely dressed.
I wondered about that too. The one really doesn't go with the other.
DeleteRegarding Daniel´s tie-less look: I´m sure this was a conscious choice because he usually always wears one, even when semi-casual. I´m actually quite happy to see him here without. A tie, while formal, is the wrong kind of formal for this type of event. A tie says business and is mainly for day purposes, but this was an evening event. Not a black tie event though, so I think going tieless was actually the right choice.
DeleteIf there´s one thing I´d change it´s the choice of double-breasted jacket. That, again, is a business look for me. And, by now, a boring one at that. A well-cut single breasted jacket would have been better, ideally one with two buttons (not three).
Victoria - so Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI wish we had a full body shot of Victoria so we could see her shoes. The dress is very glamorous and glitzy; her earrings look a bit heavy; but, overall, I think she looks great. Although Daniel looks good, I wonder why he did not choose to wear a tie, as it seems like a semi-formal event.
ReplyDeleteThe top of Victoria's dress reminds me a bit of Meghan's engagement photo dress. That's a good thing, in my books.
ReplyDeleteI'm bored by Daniel's look. Better than the black turtleneck he sometimes wears, though.
Victoria est très bien maquillée.. Dommage de ne pas voir entièrement sa robe ainsi que ses chaussures !!!
ReplyDeleteThis outfit looks very beautiful on her and Daniel looks dapper too.
ReplyDeleteDaniel needs a tie, his shirt looks sloppy without one. She looks lovely, but would have liked to see a photo of the dress and shoes, without the coat.
ReplyDeleteWhy does he need a tie? Surely the royals plan their outfits carefully for an event and Daniel is dressed accordingly?? C P Victorias jacket is lovely and changes the formality of the outfit.
DeleteVery nice,also love the earrings.
ReplyDeleteThis was a private visit, not official. Maybe that's why Daniel looks a it casual
ReplyDeleteLove the dress but the first photo is strange--it looks like Victoria has no legs! The dress really suits her and the earrings are amazing though they look very heavy. Daniel is not his usual elegant self with the no tie look
ReplyDeleteVictoria has no feet!
ReplyDeleteI really like the frothy, festive, but still very tasteful vibe of Victoria's dress and earrings, as though she and Daniel might be going to a party after the theater. His look is great also, and it's a nice change from his usual buttoned-up formality.
ReplyDeleteCP Victoria's makeup looks beautiful. The dress looks nice, but would love to see more of it, camouflaged by the coat. Not a fan of the earrings.
