On November 25, 2019, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark attended a concert and following reception at Palace of Culture and Science (Pałac Kultury i Nauki) in Warsaw, which is the tallest building in Poland. The concert was organized by, among others, the Danish Cultural Institute and aimed to illustrate the artistic synergies that exist between Denmark and Poland. Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary are on an official visit to Poland on the occasion of the centenary of the resumption of diplomatic relations between Denmark and Poland. Crown Princess Mary wore a new velved dress by Beulah London. |
This Beulah dress is gorgeous without the modifications the DoC made to it. Much more interesting. The velvet is divine for an evening event in the fall.
ReplyDeleteThe "DoC"?
DeleteDuchess of Cambridge. But I can't recall when did she wear Beulah velvet dress 🤔
DeleteThe Duchess of Cambridge wore this same Beulah design last week for a lunch engagement in a deep green fabric with modifications to the sleeves.
DeleteShe wore olive green version, twice.
DeleteMary looks lovely in this deep claret velvet. I like the frill cuff and the 3/4 length is perfect for an evening soirée.

CP Mary looks beautiful. A gorgeous dress. Love the sleeves. The fit and length are perfect.
ReplyDeleteWhat A lovely dress!
ReplyDeleteShe wears iT beautifully: without Any jewels that would disturb iT
J'adore le velours de couleur Bordeaux ; cela apporte une grande élégance !!
ReplyDeleteCrown Princess Mary's dress is so rich and regal and compliments her figure nicely. Its no wonder she is considered to be one of the best dressed royals. I think her mannerisms, demeanor and the way she carries herself makes her look as royal as a real one. It is obvious Crown Prince Frederick knows he ha a real gem!!!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree, Anonymous 1:43!
DeleteYes but he lets the side down again with his ill fitting suit. I wish Mary would take this matter in hand with urgence.
DeleteWhat A lovely way to say it, too true!
DeleteKate wore the same dress the other day, in dark green (which looked great on her). It´s nice to see the same dress worn by someone else. It looks equally nice in dark red, and works equally nice on Mary. The two ladies have similar body shapes, so no surprise.
ReplyDeleteI like that Mary (contrary to Kate) didn´t cover those neck pleats with her hair as I consider the pleats the main feature. But Kate altered those sleeves and got rid of the super flared ruffles which was a good move. And the dress is slightly too long on both ladies and had looked nicer 8-10cm shorter (just below the knee). As is, the overall effect is a bit heavy and too much fabric.
I like Fredrik´s matching tie.
Love this dress and CPss Mary looks stunning wearing it, also great color.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful unadorned dress. One day the fashion for men wearing blue suits will pass and elegant greys and blacks will return ---I know some don;t have this problem but so many have :(
ReplyDeleteMary has such a beautiful style, this dress looks wonderful. The color and fit are perfect. I'm usually not a fan of this style sleeve, but with this velvet fabric, it works.
