The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge currently make an official visit to Pakistan that takes place between October 14 and 18 at the request of The Foreign and Commonwealth Office. On October 15, the Duke and Duchess visited Model College for girls in Islamabad. Next, The Duke and Duchess visited Margallah Hills National Park. Afterwards, The Duke and Duchess met the President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi and Samina Alvi at the Presidential Palace. Then, the Duke and Duchess attended an official meeting and lunch with Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad. The Duches wore a blue Kurta and trousers by Pakistani designer Maheen Khan. |
Beautiful as always. Powerful British Royal Couple William & Kate. Strong Cambridges
ReplyDeleteLove the color of her kurta and pants. Don't like the choice of shoes.
ReplyDeleteThis oriental style suits her so beautifully!!
ReplyDeleteAh! She follows up with two other lovely outfits, which both seem to be perfectly adapted to the events she is attending. I love the blue Kurta for a school visit! I am not so fond of the very green coat, but Catherine is really good at pulling of any shade of green, so I am onboard anyway. Well done!
ReplyDeleteWhat can one say, each outfit is just beautiful
ReplyDeleteBoth outfits are fitted perfectly. The coats are beautiful. Kate is beautiful. If I have any qualms it would be scarves hanging so loosely that one picture is dragging the ground. I note one person whose scarf is attached at the shoulder, which seems prudent.
ReplyDeleteBoth outfits are lovely. I like that she chooses Pakistani made jewellery which compliment the outfits perfectly.

I especially like the green-white costume. I think green is a difficult colour, but it suits Catherine very well..
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blue outfit. Wish her shoes matched. The two green hues of the second ensemble are indidividually lovely, but these colours do not go together well. There is a tonal difference. I may be wrong, but this does not seem like a new outfit, but put together from an existing wardrobe. However, they do not work well together in texture with the coat fabric looking much heavier than that of the pants.
ReplyDeleteIf there is an occasion where color is important, this is it, what beautiful hues on both outfits, i love that she is wearing a duppatas, as an homage to the host country, and because they are so beautiful. I particularly like the green tone of the coat, I believe is a Catherine Walker, or at least it looks like her creations, the pants that are cream (not white) are from a Pakistani designer Maheen Khan, and I think it's a smart combination.
ReplyDeleteSorry for all the typos... no glasses😃
DeleteVery much a future Queen; Stylish and well groomed. There are other royals who could take lessons from her.
ReplyDeleteTout est sublime, elle est ravissante. Ces tenues lui vont à ravir !
ReplyDeleteShe has fabulously tailored clothing. I wish a couple of the other royal ladies would take note of how well her clothing always lays across her body - no pulling or bunching.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the blue outfit, beautiful color and a delicate embroidery around the neck. I love the idea she is wearing some Pakistani desings in this tour, great way to promote these labels.
ReplyDeleteWow I can only agree with all the praise! She is definitely on a roll! She looks great in both outfits, but I prefer the blue one. Very nice colour on her.
ReplyDeleteLike Cherry Blossom said: I also think the green coat is a Catherine Walker and not new. I'm almost 100% sure she has worn it before.
I thought I read somewhere there will be a state dinner... I can't wait!
The second-last picture is very sweet.
Perfect representing of the Crown: The Duchess looks beautiful, not even a tiny failure fashionwise. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteBoth outfits look fantastic. The embroidery of the cornflower blue top is beautiful. My only quibble is I don't like the shoes with the green top.

Another outstanding showing from Kate. Her blue kurta is very becoming, and shows respect for her host country. I might add that it looks very comfortable as well. Her change of outfit is much like her arrival outfit--a lovely mix of traditional Pakastani style and Kate's personal style. She has put a great deal of thought into her wardrobe, mixing in Pakastani designers with her own, and keeping in mind the importance of wearing shades of green. The Catherine Walker tunic is beautiful, paired with the Maheen Khan pants and Satrangi scarf and of course her green Zeen earrings makes a stunning impact. I love her choice of shoes and bag. They coordinate with the scarf and tie it all together.
ReplyDeleteExquisit outfits, gorgeous colors, so flattering for this conservative country! I do wish Stephanie of Luxembourg would find help from a designer who could outfit her in something as well-fitted as this style. Then she could play with color, trims and accessories to her heart's content. Get a basic pattern fitted and then choose several fabrics. Easy-peasy.
ReplyDeleteLovely outfits, however, the white pants should have been a dark hued color rather than white. They seem to appear as an after thought. Maybe a dark green colored pant, navy or black would have completed the outfit.... JT
ReplyDeleteBoth outfits are lovely, so perfectly tailored. As figured, she's wearing green as a nod to the flag, and it is such a beautiful color green. Gorgeous against her skin. The blue is a beautiful tone too. The earrings are a fantastic touch.

Two more incredible outfits. The blue one is amazing. She suits all shades of blue so well. I love the green coat and the shoes are divine. I understand the significance of the green and cream colour scheme but personally would have preferred a toning shade of green. It’s a very minor complaint, though. Just loving everything worn on this tour so far. The Duke and Duchess are fantastic representatives of the Queen.
ReplyDeleteThe blue outfit is nice but on the green one there is something wrong, the coat, trousers and shoes don't go together very well. And Kate's hairstyle is not really suitable for her face shape. - Siri
ReplyDeleteThe first outfit is outstanding. One of my favourite looks of Catherine in a while. It’s also not too shiny and in your face. Can’t say the same about the second one. Like others, I don’t particularly think the shiny green does any favours to anyone. The fit is nice, quite nice in fact, but I had to squint to focus on the fit and not be distracted by the shiny, loud, in your face, fabric. I also don’t favour the combination with the white pants.
ReplyDeleteBut I really like the first one. Excellent start to the tour.

Both of these outfits are stunning and good choices for the Duchess. The colours are gorgeous. The draping of the scarfs finish the outfits off perfectly.
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love the first blue outfit. She is radiant in this colour. Not so much the second green outfit. Doesn't really bring out any colour in her face the way the blue one does.
ReplyDeleteSo far every outfit looks great and so is the jewelry.
