  1. Queen Letizia's makeup, hair, shoes and earrings are spot on, but I do not like her dress. Can someone tell me what the detailing is...embroidery, applique? The colors are nice, but with the added pattern, the bow seems extraneous.

    1. Agree. I would have preferred this dress without all the peach flowers. I think just the black and white details would have been better.

  2. Debra, I agree. Also, the young princesses have been out and about lately. I hope they're not overwhelmed. They look lovely though.

  3. With less filler sleeves and without the bow, the queen’s dress would have been a hit. I don’t like it. The princesses are beautifully dressed.

  4. Belle Letizia mais le nœud sur le haut de sa robe me paraît de trop.. Jolies boucles d'oreilles comme d'habitude !!!

  6. What an exquisite dress, the neutral grey, the beautiful appliqués, with a superb color palette, it has a little retro vibe specially with the bow, and the fact that the shoulders fall a little below the natural line, she looks impeccable. It is significant that she is wearing Pertegaz, for the first time since he created her wedding gown,
The princess and Infanta, as beautiful as ever

    1. I also found the queen’s Pertegaz dress exquisite. Every detail, the colors, the appliqués, the bow, everything denotes the trademark art of the designer.

    2. This gown strikes me as being like a work of art, a painting, a creation for sartorial history.

  7. Letizia has just raised the bar. This dress makes a statement. Wearing Pertegaz can't be a coincidence. Pertegaz designed her wedding gown, and she is now in Pertegaz again for Leonor's first official appearance at the Princess of Asturias Awards.

The colors are gorgeous. The flowers pop on the pale grey background, and I think the embroidery has been well-placed. The embroidery would have felt very heavy if it had not been on this soft and delicate fabric. The neck bow adds a level of polish and sophistication. As always, superbly accessorized, and her uncomplicated hairstyle does not detract from the dress. I love the color coordination with Leonor's dress, as though it represents the passing of the torch from mother to daughter. Both girls are so lovely, and poised. Fantastic as always.

  9. War Manuel Pertegaz nicht der Designer von Letizias Hochzeitskleid?

  10. Once again the Princess of the Asturias and Infanta Sofia look fantastic. I am not a huge fan of Queen Letizia’s dress. Perhaps if it was a little shorter and minus the huge bow it would be more appealing. Not a miss but nit one of her best looks.

  12. This was a busy day for the Royal Family. The Pss look very nice not overdone. Letizias dress is a nice color, but the flowers way too big, but she looked nice anyway.

The Queen look perfectly well groomed. Her hair, beautiful makeup and accessories, the earrings I love. The dress has a lot going on without so much pattern the outfit would have worked better, but she still looks stunning. The girls look beautiful, love what they are wearing.
