On October 11, 2019, Queen Elizabeth II visited Haig Housing Trust in Morden to officially open their new housing development. Haig Housing Trust is the country’s largest military housing charity, with over 1,500 properties across the UK, providing affordable accommodation to armed forces veterans and their families. Queen Elizabeth II has been Patron of Haig Housing since 1952, and 70 years ago, in 1949, opened one of the charity's estates in Jersey. |
Wow what a great look. And she is 93 years old.. Lovely coat and hat. Spot on as always.
ReplyDeleteOnly one word needed...Queen. - Capt. Marvel
ReplyDeleteTrue!
DeleteI wish you had posted the tweet from the Royal Family showing her doing the same job 70 years ago!
ReplyDeleteThe Queen is lovely in the blue suit. I wonder, has she had surgery on her right eye/cataract surgery perhaps? It seems somewhat swollen and smaller than her left eye. I can only wish to look as good as she does at her age!.... JT
ReplyDeleteElégante dans ce manteau et chapeau dont la couleur lui va toujours bien !!!
ReplyDeleteI love the flower arrangement and colors on her hat.
ReplyDeleteWonderful to see Her Majesty back out at work again. What an inspiration she is.
ReplyDeleteUnderstated elegance as always. The Queen looks lovely. The colour of her coat suits her so well. Just love the sapphire and diamond brooch its stunning, the perfect backdrop with the coat. Pearl earrings and necklace as always the finishing touch.
ReplyDeleteShe looks more and more like Queen Mary
ReplyDeleteI love her attitude and the colour of the coat is very nice. I also love the ornament on her hat. And the brooch... wow, stunning!!
ReplyDeleteBut is it just me, or is the coat too big? Especially on front, it looks a bit baggy. Usually, her clothes fit perfect.
Rosalyn, I thought the coat was too loose, and wondered if the Queen had lost weight.
DeleteIhre Majestät sieht sehr hübsch aus, aber war sie krank? Der Mantel ist viel zu groß. Ich denke Queen Elisabeth hat einiges an Gewicht verloren. Hoffentlich geht es ihr gut.
