On October 1, King Carl Gustaf and Crown Princess Victoria attended the opening of the General Synod (Kyrkomötet 2019) in Uppsala. Church Council meeting which is the highest decision-making body of the Swedish Church began with a service at Uppsala Cathedral under the chairmanship of Bishop Thomas Petersson. The General Synod is the Church of Sweden's largest decision-making body and it consists of 251 members from throughout Sweden. (The Crown Princess wore a dress by Camilla Thulin.) |
Excellent!! Clean lines suit her so much better than frills and whatnot.

Absolutely agree.
DeleteI like the whole outfit or better said almost everything. Do not care for the headband everything else very nice.
ReplyDeleteAgree!
DeleteAgree, the headband with veil is slightly off-kilter and the color is not quite right, otherwise a beautiful outfit.
DeleteI'm not sure about the headband too.....gives her a touch of a cleaning woman-outfit, Frieda
DeleteBeautiful color on Victoria. I feel like her make- up should have been a little stronger in color. She’s getting a little lost under the netting.

Agree in every detail, especially about the make up.
DeleteGorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI love the dress - great colour and a very nice fit. I think the headpiece is okay. The headband is quite smart but the little veil seems like an afterthought. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteThe dress is smart though I don't think the wide belt is an improvement on its last wearing. Still trying to decide whether I like this hat or not.
ReplyDeleteJe trouve aussi une ceinture plus fine mieux adaptée.
DeleteThe outfit is perfect right down to accessories perfect choice. Not so keen on headband
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful dress on Victoria. I'm not big fan of that head piece though. But I'm really impressed how good she is in her role. I really don't know her of course, but according everything I've seen and heard, she seems to has very warm personality and she is genuinely interested in the world and people around her. I guess the King has always been a little bit shy and it does'n help in that role. Luckily Victoria inherited her mothers outgoing trait. -Siri
ReplyDeleteWonderful outfit for Victoria. And this colour (a dark dark green too) is my favourite for autumn. Love it!
ReplyDeleteVictoria looks so beautiful in this outfit! The colour is fantastic. Am I wrong or is Mr. Grumpy King trying a little smile in the last picture?
ReplyDeleteI think it's just indigestion. 😀
DeleteRoyalty fan
ReplyDeleteOh magnifique! No florals today, but an elegant pencil, sheath dress, and accessories
I like this h+m dress very much ;) Oh, no it‘s not h+m. Joking aside, this dress is stunning and has the right colour for her.
ReplyDeleteUne tenue magnifique ainsi que les accessoires dont le bandeau avec la voilette !!!

ReplyDeleteVery nice. The color suits Victoria, and the cut of this dress flatters her body beautifully. I always hope she will notice the difference and make a change in her wardrobe choices. I fully agree with the above comments about her makeup. I have often thought she needed more color in her face. I would never fear she would be overdone, but a little more color on her lips and cheeks would really complement her skin.
ReplyDeleteI love the style of the dress and the color, but would have mixed the wide belt. Also I feel the hat is too matronly for the Princess. Looks like something her mother should be wearing.
ReplyDeleteI like the dress, the color and the accessories, but I thin the hat and veil ages her.
ReplyDeleteAgree
DeleteCP Victoria looks so pretty. Love this color and style on her.
ReplyDeleteone of my favourite outfits on Victoria, she looks just fantastic with it! I really like everything on it and I also like that headpiece that she wears with it on this occastion. Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteNice outfit, apart from the veil.
ReplyDeleteLove it! - Capt. Marvel
