On October 24, 2019, The Duchess of Cornwall attended the 7th anniversary reception of NLT's Books Unlocked programme at KPMG Cafe in London. Books Unlocked supports those in prisons and young offender institutions, as well as others in community settings such as schools and libraries, to read for enjoyment. The Duchess of Cornwall is patron of the National Literacy Trust

    I believe she has worn that dress before and I liked it. The jacket or covering or whatever it is, is interesting, but not with a 'V' neckline underneath. It would look better with something with a higher neckline underneath.

    I very much like the "cape," but, like Anon 9:13, it might look better if worn with a straight or higher neckline underneath. I think the black and white print dress would look better with a straight hemline. But, it is nice to see the Duchess wear something a bit different.

    What a nice look for Camilla. I like the dress. I would have liked a short jacket over the dress not the little capelet.

    Agree, the little cape looks like part of an academic gown, or something a clergyman would wear. Black isn’t her colour either. Oh well, no one gets it right all of the time! (V.M.)

    "In the UK the gap in literacy between the rich and poor..." - so a very interesting cause. Duchess Camilla took part in a discussion with Elif Shafak and Peter Florence,the chair of the 2019 Booker Price judges. Duchess of Cornwall seems to be a very smart Lady.
