On Tuesday, October 1, 2019, the Swedish Cancer Society's Pink Ribbon campaign started. For the eleventh year in a row, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden became the patron of the campaign, which will continue during the month of October. The Pink Band campaign aims to fight breast cancer by funding cancer research, spreading knowledge about the disease and raising public awareness. The campaign has been carried out annually since 2003. |
As the official patron of the campaign, the Crown Princess visited Karolinska University Hospital in Solna on September 6. During the visit, the Crown Princess received information about a cancer patient's path into health care system through a fictional story. |
In the pathology laboratory, the Crown Princess saw how tissue is taken care of, partly for health care and partly for research. The Crown Princess also received information on the latest in cell therapy as well as in telomerase research, a research area which became the winner of the 2009 Nobel Prize. |
I am quite pleased to see that nice pink suit again.
ReplyDeleteQuite nice again
ReplyDeleteI understand her choice of color for this event and it suits her (no pun intended). I think the coat would look better buttoned but otherwise I think Princess Victoria looks very pretty.
ReplyDeleteLike the jacket but still think the trousers are awful. The colour is nice but again I think the whole look would be improved with a contrasting colour of blouse.
ReplyDeleteLove this color on her , very flattering .
ReplyDeleteWhat would Sherlock deduce from all this pink? He'd make a new study about it! :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat look today again.
ReplyDeleteCP Victoria is looking beautiful - classy and elegant.
ReplyDeleteLove her and that pink is super flattering on her xx
