| On October 12, 2019, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit visited the book shop Pankebuch in Berlin. This small shop is specialized in books from the Nordic and Baltic countries. The Crown Couple are currently making a visit to Germany on the occasion of the Frankfurt Book Fair, which will take place from October 16 to 20, 2019. Norway has been selected as the Guest of Honour for the Frankfurt Book Fair 2019, the world’s most important trade fair for books. DeleteI like the cream sweater a lot, with the ruffled turtleneck, it's cute. But in my opinion, the coat doesn't do anything for her.
The temp in Berlin was about 15 degrees. Not really cold but there's wind, there's humidity, and there's personal preference. A bit of a waste of ink, Anonymous at 9.00 pm.

DeleteAnon 9:20.... I thought that looked like the same sweater CP Mary had worn in France a few days ago! Some commented that it was too heavy a sweater for her to wear. I thought it looked like a great fall sweater and now MM is wearing the same look, and looks just as lovely on her! Like the coat as well, though the belt detracts and could have been a leather dark gray, or black.... JT

ReplyDeleteAber ich muss Anon 09:00 Uhr recht geben: wir haben hier in Deutschland gerade super schönes Herbstwetter, 20-24 Grad, oft mit Sonne. Der Termin war nach 13.00 Uhr und da war es eindeutig warm. Informiert sie sich nicht vorher?

ReplyDeleteThat is one snazzy coat! She looks very "with it" in this outfit. It fits across her shoulders and arms comfortably and is a lovely color with her hair against it.

DeleteAgree! This coat has a wonderful simplicity of line and an almost modernist sculptural quality, very subtle (look at those sleeves -- it's genius!).
