On the third day of Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary's working visit to Paris, Crown Princess Mary, accompanied by First Lady Brigitte Macron, visited Lycee Lamartine school, where students can attend Danish classes. The DR Danish National Girls’ Choir also attended the visit. Lycée Lamartine is a French institute of secondary education located in the 9th arrondissement of Paris. Crown Princess Mary wore a high-waisted bouclé tweed midi skirt by Alexander McQueen. |

ReplyDeletehm no! Today I don't like it
ReplyDeleteWooah, those are some beautiful autumn colours!
ReplyDeleteThe pieces on Mary don’t go together. This skirt would be great with a black top or blazer. I’m not sure about Mrs Macron’s outfit either.
ReplyDeleteI agree that a black top or even a reddish color (like her shoes) would have looked much better. The white takes away from the beautiful colors in the skirt.
DeleteElizabeth
The color and style of the sweater do not compliment the beautiful skirt.
DeleteGreat shoes!
Love it. The sweater is great, and makes it such a cozy look. The skirt is gorgeous, fantastic color for autumn.

I also think that these two pieces do not pair well together.
ReplyDeleteThe top would look better on a pair of tailored slacks and the skirt, while beautifully cut, needs a better top. I like what the model is wearing but not for this occasion (too dressy). Perhaps a plum or eggplant short leather blazer or silk blouse or shirt.

Both ladies look good. The only gripe I have is the sweater is too heavy for the skirt,I think Brigitte Marcron always looks great.
ReplyDeleteLike it~
ReplyDeleteI think this is a perfect sweater, it catches the creamy accents of the skirt, a darker hue, would look too somber. I propose that Mary raises her stylist salary, she is looking so elegant and chic lately ❤️
ReplyDeleteMs Macron, loyal to her style, her dress is elegant, but as usual it needs to be longer, IMO I think she would look so good with fluid and more voluminous skirts, she doesn't need to go midi since she is so petite, but below the knee would improve her overall look.
Cherry Blossom, I too think the fall weight, cream sweater looks lovely with the skirt, it brings out the cream color in the skirt, which also have lovely fall shades. She looks so young in this outfit.... JT
DeleteI agree with you, Mary nailed it with a creamy top. Either black or burgundy would have looked like a uniform and not allowed the skirt to pop like it does. Mary has a great figure and her stylist chooses wonderful outfits for her.
DeleteWhat a beautiful skirt--lovely colours, texture and length. I think the sweater is a great match as the darker colours suggested would make for a very dull outfit. Another superb outfit, in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteMrs Macron is looking a little orange her advisers need to pay attention to foundation ;the hair needs some attention, the dress is interesting;chic. Mary looks, like orphan Annie;the skirt is too long;and the jumper is too bulky;hair looks great, nice shoes.
ReplyDeleteUgh yeah there is white in the skirt so the sweater totally goes. Love the skirt. On point again! - Capt. Marvel
ReplyDeleteThis style looks so much better!
ReplyDeleteThe skirt is lovely, the perfect lenght. Love the diamond hooped earrings they are beautiful
ReplyDeleteMe encanta la falda otoñal de Mary
