My favorite Brit royal.
ReplyDeleteOne of the best floral dresses seen in a While. She looks gorgeous here.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree.

ReplyDeleteGood to see Sophie out and about again. Like the dress, though the usual complaint is that it is just that wee bit too long. Her hair is nice and flattering for her
ReplyDeleteAgree with everything you said. Love this dress!
DeleteThat beautiful dress, the hair, the shoes -- ravishing. Love it all. Well done Sophie!! (I'm so happy for her that she discovered this dress before Mary, Letizia, Mathilde, or Maxima did, lol)
ReplyDeleteShe looks great - love the dress.
ReplyDeleteI am so sick and tired of flower prints that none of them is pretty for me anymore.
ReplyDeleteHer hairstyle looks dowdy and matronly to me. Didn't Diana show us all how young, modern and glamourous a women can look with short hair?
Sophie's hairstyle is very much early 1960's (as her dress is late 1950's). I remember some old photos of Grace of Monaco who at the time was about 30 years old. Even Paola of Belgium had sometimes similar hairdo. She was even younger than Grace. But fashions varies...

Diana never got to be 50 and over.......
Delete@Romy B: It was easy for Lady D. because she was young. Maybe Judi Dench is a better example. In her role as "M" in the Bond movies she has a very becoming short cut which made and still makes her look so much younger and more beautiful. In the series "As time goes by" you can watch this metamorphosys.
DeleteThis is fairly pretty for being a floral dress. Pretty colours, pleasant print, good fit. I had prefered it to be shorter though (as always).
ReplyDelete…… and for an ERDAM dress as well !

Der "Up-Do" gefällt mir sehr. Das Kleid ist ein bisschen zu lang und es tut farblich nicht viel für sie. Aber es ist ein ganz nettes Kleid und passt auch zum Anlass und zur Umgebung.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorites royals.
ReplyDeleteGreat looking dress.
ReplyDeleteShe looks great, appropriately dressed for this visit. Lovely dress.
ReplyDeleteSophie has a fantastic style, I like this dress a lot.
ReplyDeleteJolie robe fleurie dans un tissu très léger mais je n'aime pas la couleur de l'étole !!!
