On September 8, 2019, The Countess of Wessex and Lady Louise Windsor attended Burghley Horse Trials at Burghley House in Stamford. The Countess of Wessex is Patron of the British Show Pony Society. The British Show Pony Society was founded in 1949 and it currently has more than 6,000 junior and adult members.     Utterly ugly! Why is she consistently wearing these too long skirts? She does not fit in them at all. And combining with this jacket makes it more worse.

    On dirait que le haut est trop lourd par rapport à la jupe. Est-ce bien une botte courte? En suède en plus? Non, vraiment, je n'aime pas du tout cette tenue.

    She certainly won't be lost in the crowd - sort of like Maxima and her hats. That is one ugly skirt. Maybe she dresses in the dark with her eyes closed the rest of the time?

    Sophies Outfit: The skirt is ok, but the combination with top and jacket don't fit so good together.

    Louise: very nice outfit for this occasion, Louise is really a lovely young lady and this outfit is perfect for the occasion. I like the bag she took with the outfit, it looks 'fresh' :-)

    Nice to see mother and daughter at an event. I like the top and blazer from Sophie, but I can't do anything with this skirt it feels out of place. Louie looks nice.

    The "Gabriela Hearst"-outfit looks nice on the Model for a summer-evening, on the beach etc... But the reality is quite different. Nothing about fashion here for both of them.

    I realize I’m the only one who thinks this way but I really like Sophie’s outfit. I admired it the minute I saw the pictures, then when I read the comments I went back over each one... and I still like it very much ch!

    Love this skirt! This length is so much more elegant than the frumpy midi length. She looks really fab! Nice fall look with jean jacket. A look I will try to copy:)

    Just looked back & zoomed picture. It's not jean jacket. I was wrong- it's a blazer. Anyway, when I mimic outfit I'll wear jean jacket:)

    I know in this day and age anything goes in terms of fashion but, imo, some rules forever hold true. One of them being; unless you're a negative size 2, or part of a prision chain-gang, don't wear horizontal stripes. They truly are not flatering on anybody or any [one's] body.
