Queen Letizia and King Felipe received Basketball National Team

On September 16, 2019, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain received the Spanish Basketball National team following their victory in the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup in China, at Zarzuela Palace in Madrid, Spain. The world Cup of basketball ended on Sunday in China, the winner of the tournament was the team of Spain in the final, who beat the team of Argentina (95:75).

    I love that it takes a basketball team to make the King look short! The Queen looks glorious in red as usual. The shoes are to die for.

      Exactly, le roi et la reine sont pourtant grands et malgré tout ils ont trouvé plus grands ....

    Queen Letizia's vibrant red dress is a good example of "less is more." She kept her accessories to a minimum--I see earrings and they are rather subdued. What a beauty she is. I enjoyed the pictures of her and the King interacting with the players. They seemed to be having a good time.

    Simple and without big complements, classic on the cut, modern on the zipper and that is all for her... a very nice look.

    I love Queen Letizia in red, and those shoes are fabulous! As for zipper, I personally like it, brings a little edge to a classic silhouette, which she often does so well.

    Spot on! Wieder ein Look, den man nicht perfekter umsetzen kann. Rot ist ja "ihre" Farbe sowieso. Dann diese wunderbaren Slingheels, der dezente Einsatz von Schmuck und diese Körperspannung. Ganz großes Kino!

    Another beautiful look from Letizia. Her clothes always fit so well, and she knows how to dress her body. I like the zipper detail on the bodice. She does have a lot of red dresses, and they need to have details that distinguish each one from the next. The zipper makes this dress more casual, perfect for meeting a basketball team! I agree with Debra. She is accessorizes perfectly, never over-doing it.

    Beautiful red dress. Love the fit of the bodice and the swirl of the skirt once again, not to mention the superb shoes. Definitely think she's been the best dressed royal this summer.
