Love the blouse and the skirt but the boots are ugly. A more fitted boot or conversely a slouchy one like the model wears would have looked much better. Princess Madeleine remains a beautiful woman

ReplyDeleteI don't like the outfit, the boots are to long in combination with the dress, when she stands she looks like wearing odd trousers under the skirt. The skirt is nice, I like it on the pic with the model with the 'plain' blouse. With Madeleines blouse it looks oldfashioned.

DeleteThat satin blouse with the pussy bow is both old-fashioned and aging. I´m so tired of that style, it´s a terrible trend, and I sure hope it will be short-lived. I also find the mix of textures in Madeleines outfit not very successful. She should have opted for a crisp white fitted button-down shirt or a simple white long-sleeve top.
ReplyDeleteI like the skirt with the boots, and I think it looks nice on the model. The boots Madeleine chose aren´t as well suited for a skirt, they look like boots you wear with jeans or a short denim skirt (a sporty, casual look in any case). For this more polished look, the two different materials, part leather, part suede aren´t ideal either.
Agree on all points. Blouse is old-fashioned and boots and skirt do not look good together.

ReplyDeleteShe is a beautiful woman, usually spot on with outfits, however, this one is mismatched, sloppy looking, and though the boots would look nice with another outfit, they just continue the 'cluttered' look.... jt

ReplyDeleteMadeleine is perfect in these clothes. She has always looked as a teenager and this blouse and skirt makes her a grown up woman. I have never seen her so perfect dressed before. Very professionell visit at Bokmässan in Gothenburg.
