  1. Princess Kako is a wonderful ambassador for Japan. Her radiant (dimpled) smile projects kindness and confidence. The salmon colored suit is lovely and fits her well; it is business- like yet very feminine. Her pearl jewelry complements the look. She is a real beauty.

  2. Nice that she is visiting my beautiful country. Sisi Museum is located at Hofburg not at Schönbrunn Palace.

  4. The suit is a lovely color for her and the designer even ventured a tiny bow in the front. I'd suggest even a little more decoration because it seems like most of her outfits are extremely plain. They need a little "fun!" Also, the length of the jacket doesn't go down to flare out at her waist, but flares out 2-3 inches above. It's the same problem Duchess Catherine had before having clothes fitted to her height.

Same style as white suit, same shoes, same hairstyle, though a very pretty woman, it would be nice to see something different in wardrobe and hair. Jo

    1. That's pretty much my opinion also: boring for such a pretty young lady. You would think the emperor and empress would like to see their niece looking her best.

  12. Why should a young woman in her twenties dress like a conservative grandma? What's the sense of the half fringe?

Just lovely. We should not want to make Japanese royals look like western ones. I take it that is where some of the ‘more modern’ hints are pointing. I would be terribly disappointed if they had to change who they are. They are NOT going to ever be Western. And that diversity is what this world so wonderful. I prefer to embrace it.

The warm welcome of Princess Kako's official visit to your country makes me feel happy as a Japanese.
I would also like you to see Kimono style, the traditional Japanese costume of Princess Kako.
