The residence of Crown Prince family, Skaugum, in Asker is located in a region of Norway which is known for having the most diverse types of bats. For almost 10 years, bats have hung at Skaugum, and they are controlled every year to maintain an overview of the stock. This year, Princess Ingrid Alexandra took part in that inspection. Princess Ingrid Alexandra has been involved in various natural and outdoor events since she was a child, and thus, she has developed a keen interest in nature and wildlife. |
Bien adorable princesse très intéressée par la nature J'aime beaucoup son look adéquat !!!
ReplyDeleteShe really is a mix of her parents. Some shots she reminds me of her mother and others her dad/ grandmother.

Nice jacket. She IA is a beautiful girl. I am glad she is holding the bat not me.
ReplyDeleteAgree
DeleteP. Ingrid-Alexandra is such an cool young woman. To be so invested in nature is fantastic. - Capt. Marvel
ReplyDeleteCool girl! It would be so awesome to see some bats up close.
ReplyDeleteI don't think you are supposed to touch bats as the membrane of the wings can be bruised;;and as for pulling the wing out straight, not good. The young Princess is causing damage.
ReplyDeleteI am sure she received some kind of training or advice during the inspection and does not cause any damage.
DeleteLooks like this lovely young girl likes to be outdoor!
She definitely received plenty of training. She also grew up with bats on her property or around the property, soo...
DeleteHere are some video clips featuring bats from the Kongehuset- account:

If you don't trust the links I've added you can just search for "Kongehuset flaggermus" on youtube.
Coralie is right. Ingrid knows what she is doing. She have learned from experts who to hold a bat. This is not her first rodeo ;)
DeleteHow does ano 6:18 mean you measure a bats wings if you don't hold them like Ingrid is doing here? The young princess is not causing damage.
DeleteDo we really have to talk about the fashion of a 15 year old girl? Teenagers this age are so vulnerable still searching for who they are and what they stand for. In my eyes it's wrong to discuss them publicly. Hela
ReplyDeleteNatural and beautiful young girl. Takes after Queen Sonja.
ReplyDeleteIs it only me or does sb else think that in some photos she looks a lot like Kate (e.g. photo1 ) when she was around the same age (or at St.Andrews Uni) - I have always seen a very striking resemblance between these two beautiful young women. Add her interest for nature and the outdoors and I almost think they are twins - just born a couple of decades apart😜. Annie
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you!

DeleteIs there a royal box with the headline
ReplyDelete"Twins of Kate" and why is this box there?
To me she does nothing look like Princess Catherine. Her parents the norwegian crown-prince-couple even do not look like Mrs and Mr Middelton.
She is total scandinavian completely independend and will never have to merry to please her loved ones.
