As in previous years, on September 26, Princess Benedikte of Denmark received exchange students from Greenland and their Danish hosts from Gentofte municipality, at Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen. The Greenlander exchange students came from Tasiilaq School in Sermersooq. They live with Danish families in Gentofte Municipality. On September 24, 2019, Princess Benedikte of Denmark attended the opening of the exhibition "The second Golden Age" at the Hirschsprung Collection in Copenhagen. The exhibition presents works by the painter Johan Ludvig Lund (1777-1867). Johan Ludvig Lund was a professor at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and has probably taught several well-known Danish golden age painters. |
