On September 5, 2019, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium visited the province of Hainaut. The visit began with the Arthur Regniers Center in Bienne-Lez-Happart (Lobbes). Great dress and lovely color. This Royal couple is busy as ever. Nice to see them.

  3. I love her dress, especially the color

  4. Beautiful color but the style makes the queen appear wide at the hips and the fabric is too heavy for pointy helpline. Great from the waist up.

  5. Nice colour and good fabric, horrible tailoring... What a pity.

    1. @rainha leonor - exactly my thoughts! I thought what dabbler tailor has mutilated this georgeous piece of fabric into this dreadful dress. Nothing fits. The bodice part pulls in all directions. Wrong body parts accentuated. The pointed hem, which if at all only works with a soft flowing fabric - is a crime.
Imagine what someone who actually knows his or her craft could have done with it! A pity and a waste! Mathilde - who dresses much better in private - desperately needs better stylists for her official outings.

  6. It does not fit her well. As to those uneven hems, I find nothing so horrible. Nice to see that Philippe has - so far - resisted that other horror trend, a beard/ although I think I have seen some pics of him with a beard.

  7. Les ourlets déstructurés ! Pas beaux du tout !

  8. Très jolie couleur mais les pans asymétriques ne l'avantagent pas vraiment !!!

  9. Lovely colour of dress which is a good length and although there are fitting issues, I think it’s sits better than some of the other dresses we’ve seen especially the ones with the high waists. Agree with you on the beards, Lizzie, for some of the royal men. Think there are a couple where it’s an improvement. #
