Yesterday, King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia visited Malmö to attend a concert celebrating Malmö Opera's 75th anniversary. On September 23, 1944, Malmö City Theater was opened by Crown Prince Gustaf Adolf and Crown Princess Louise. In addition, yesterday morning, the King and Queen attended episcopal ordination at Uppsala Cathedral. The service was led by the archbishop in the presence of other bishops of the Swedish Church and foreign guests. |
First thought about the purple dress: Awesome! Wonderful colour and good cut. And then I saw the jacket and was like... Mwah...
ReplyDeleteThe Royal couple look great. Love the purple ensemble. The brown outfit is spot on for this visit.
ReplyDeleteThe Royal Purple seems to be made for this royal queen - very eye-catching! Her hair is lovely and the flowers are the perfect accent for the busy vibrant print of the jacket. One truly wonders if all of the special events have any affect on the king who only seems to enjoy old cars.
ReplyDeleteLove the Queen's evening outfit. It's just gorgeous and she looks fantastic.
ReplyDeleteThe Queen looks elegant and graceful. I would have liked to see a clearer photo of her jacket, jury is out on that.
