On September 6, 2019, Crown Princess Mary attended the opening of Golden Days Festival 2019, at the University of Copenhagen. Golden Days Festival was held for the first time in 1994, and was formed as a collaboration between several cultural institutions in Copenhagen. This year, the theme of the festival is "1989" on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of several historical events that happened in that year, including the fall of the Berlin Wall, the reunion of Europe and the birth of the Internet. (Crown Princess Mary wore a new polka dot silk shirt dress by Carolina Herrera.) |
Est-ce Lech Walesa ,prix Nobel de la Paix 1983 qui accompagne la princesse Mary ?
ReplyDeleteMyriam, yes/oui, that's him. (With a few more pounds...:)
DeleteWow … Mary looks stunning in this beautiful CH dress . Everything is perfect in her look.
ReplyDeleteAgree. Mary looks wonderful.
DeleteA beautiful cocktail evening dress and Mary certainly wears it well!
ReplyDeleteI especially like the collar style and the contrasting panels below the belt. Hair, shoes and jewellery are on point as well. Not sure that I like the blue clutch though.

CP Mary always so elegant!
ReplyDeleteNice dress, but not like one would say wow.
ReplyDeleteNo wow, the colour is a bit dark for her hair colour.
DeleteStunning as usual! Love CP Mary! - Capt. Marvel
ReplyDeleteI find myself liking most Carolina Herrera designs. Very feminine interesting outfits yet never fussy or try-hard.
ReplyDeleteFor this particular dress though, I wonder if white shoes, belt and purse had worked. I can imagine that the contrasting effect had been really nice, and the overall look had been lighter and appeared less dark and heavy.
Vanessa, you are right. I thought the same. More suitable for a funeral. And believe me: this year 1989 has been a great time for us behind the Iron curtain. Finally free. (I have been a Prisoner for political reasons too.)Better to celebrate these days in bright colours!!
DeleteMary may follow the no white shoes after Labor Day rule.
DeleteEuropeans celebrate Labor Day in May and they do not konw any rules about white shoes.
DeleteGotcha!
DeletePerfection from head to toe! I’m not s big fan of CH but this dress is lovely; feminine without being fussy. Mary is spotless as usual!
ReplyDeleteAnother twist on CH's signature colours of black and white. Fit and flare, girly and floaty. Mr. Walesa is living breathing history. Wow!
ReplyDeleteBelle
The dress is beautiful, but even a small splash of color would have been nice.
ReplyDeletePersonally I think this is not a very soft appearance and therrefor gives a matronly expression.
ReplyDeleteCrown Princess Mary looks stunning . I love this gorgeous dress and everything about the details .
ReplyDeleteCP Mary will get a lot of wear out of this dress. It suits her perfectly!
ReplyDeleteAgree.
DeleteMary will get a lot of wear out of this new dress. Dots really suit her!
ReplyDeleteRavissante Mary dans cette robe-chemisier à pois.. Magnifiques escarpins bicolores !!!
ReplyDeleteLove the entire ensemble
ReplyDeleteShe really looks good with all this dots!
ReplyDeleteI also think it's a bit to much fabric on the cleave, but for me, overall, she really looks good.
I also like the fact that more royal ladies are using, IMO, more cleavage and skirts that show legs, without being excessive or indecorous, just because it show a normal and real woman of 21th century.
