FRIENDS! Zu schön!!!

Victoria's pants - too wide and too long. /Julie/

    I like Mary’s outfit.
Every body knows Victoria & Fredrik is first anytime. But also Mary and Daniel ’s care is wonderful all the time.

  5. My only comment will be about Victoria's creamy white pants, blouse and camel coat. She looks amazing!!! Simply amazing! Then she adds a WOW! with a leopard bag. Just when I have given up on her, she surprises me with this outfit. I have no idea what is under the coat, but I see a chic, modern outfit. Her pants are on trend and the perfect length, and her blouse is not buttoned all the way up. The white blouse next to her face brightens her up. Even with a coat layered over her clothes, she looks slimmer than she does in some of her dresses that swallow her with fabric. Simple, clean lines and solid colors are her friend here.

    1. I agree 100%. And you mentioned something that just struck me, namely that the blouse is not buttoned up all the way. This is indeed so refreshing. Imagine if she had closed even the top buttons, what a desaster that had been, yet it´s a style we see so often these days. It´s especially those blouses that are worn with a tied ribbon bow right at your throat that I´ve always hated with a passion. Let your outfits breathe, ladies, quite literally, it will look so much better.

Victoria's beige dress is just not pretty or flattering, but her trouser/coat look is quite chic. I like Mary's jacket but not with the rest of the look. Mary's hair is styled very nicely. While I wish Victoria would wear her hair down and styled sometimes, this side part is so much better than all of it pulled back, much softer.

  7. The dress on Victoria is poorly-designed, I think, and then poorly-made. The skinny model's photos show a million tiny pleats. Where are they on her dress? The shoulders must be uncomfortable sitting below the tip of her shoulder, so they're pushed up into a pile at the top. I bet that is to free her hands - annoying to have them covered as designed. It is called "tight-fitted," yet is baggy on her torso and then she's pulled it together with that wide belt. Poor woman. If it was left unbelted it would be dragging on her ankles. The model's color of dress would suit Victoria better, but this color matches her skin. Not the best look.

  9. Yay! Victoria has her hair side swept! Finally. I've always thought it suits her way better and softens her face. Great!

  10. Mary looks very nice, Victoria not so much. The color of her outfit washes her out and the dress doesn't fit her well in the bust area, and that belt doesn't do her any favors either. I like her white outfit and coat better.

  11. Daniel´s suit is too tight. And he never seems to button it right either. In double-breasted jackets, there are buttons on the inside for a reason.
Mary´s skirt is not my cup of tea but it kind of works with the original blue top. With the black fitted jacket not so much, especially with the light blue (and later nude) shoes also thrown in.
Victoria´s nude dress is terrible on her. I think I could like if in red, or white, or navy, and shorter and on a casual occasion. But for this formal event, no. The colour does nothing for her.
I am somewhat surprised that I like her coat in the same hue that she wore later. I think it is the combination with the white that works so well. I also like the big colour and how it closes and drapes, very nice. This whole outfit is the best outfit I´ve seen her in for a while. Pity only that the trousers are so overly flared. Would have looked so elegant with just a wide, but straight leg. I like her hair parted on the side.

I like both of Victoria's looks here. The cream colored pants and top look great with the camel coat. I also prefer her styling of the dress to the model's. The belt nicely breaks up the ruching. I like Mary's skirt and top but not worn together. Or maybe if she ditched the belt.

Mary looks simply fabulous here. Everything works in an elegant and easy way that is pretty much her signature. I don’t mind the first dress on Victoria but would love if she lost the camel coat on the second outfit. -J

I hate to say this but the addition of the belt ruins the dress completely. I can see the intended fit on the model: sleek with a low waistline. However the belt bunches the entire top part of the dress into an unfortunate, ill fitting mess!

However, I do like the second outfit very much! Love the flare trousers with the beige coat. Always a classic and chic combination!

CP Mary looks spot on. Victoria's dress looks OK maybe I am not for the color? Do like the wide leg pant and coat. Some day's great other day's not so much. Each of us have their own like's and dislike's.

  17. She did it again :( … The beige dress is nice but without the belt. It usually goes wrong to change dresses in length or with accessoires that also modify the proportions.

  18. Victoria probably got the brooch from Queen Margrethe :-) I like the outfit, but it would have looked better with a pair of white jeans.

  20. I don't like CP Mary's top. It's too heavy with this skirt. If she chose this top, she should choose a little more darker shoes.
