Yesterday, on her Instagram account, The Duchess of Sussex released video clips relating to a few new projects on which she works with SmartWorks. The clips show behind the scenes at a photo shoot promoting work attires. The Duchess is collaborating with the brands Marks & Spencer, John Lewis, Jigsaw, and Misha Nonoo for the collection. The initiative will support the charity SmartWorks, one of her royal patronages, which helps women entering the workforce by helping them dress for jobs or prepare for interviews. At the photo shoot, The Duchess of Sussex wore a blue-and-white-striped blouse by Frank & Eileen. |
They have a lot of fun. Love that.
ReplyDeleteYes, I thought so too. Nice!
DeleteWhatever we may think about her engagements: I think it's lovely to see how genuinely happy she is, relaxed and enjoying the activities. Very nice. She seems very down-to-earth and that's great.
ReplyDeleteThat's the style she basically wore before she got married and I still think that's the style that works best for her. She looks good in skinny jeans and high heels. Like the idea behind 'Smart Works' of empowering women to regain selfconfidence and get a job. I hope that Meghan as Royal Patron helps to raise more money for the charity project. She looks happy on this photo shoot, nice and natural interaction with everybody.
ReplyDeleteI like this outfit on Meghan--the loose shirt and jeans look is excellent if one is still trying to lose baby weight (Meghan) or simply overweight (me!) I know it is fashionable to wear what you want irrespective of body shape but this outfit is just ideal for her--she has great legs for skinnies. Like Beth, I really hope that her backing gains further support for this very worthwhile organisation.
ReplyDelete@ Beth, totally agree with your post, love the initiative and she looks fantastic, jeans and heels are the perfect combo, I also like the loose shirt that balances the pants. Lovely Meghan!!
ReplyDeleteLovely outfit,she looks really good.
ReplyDeleteAs said above this is one of her best casual looks. Nice to see her finding a niche where she can contribute to women's issues in a meaningful way. MB
ReplyDeleteI like Meghan;but think she needs to step away a little from the fashion front line and talk more about the support for women entering the work force, otherwise it will blow up in her face. She looks happy and casual;I know she and Harry need their own causes.
ReplyDeleteShe looks so lovely with her with her hair down and in loose waves. It's a rarity for her nowadays. I do with the heels were in a dark blue or black or more camel colored. I feel like it would have complimented her outfit more. Nonetheless in excited to for the release of this capsule collection.
ReplyDeleteMeghan looks fantastic!!
ReplyDeleteLove her hair down like this. Like her outfit. I feel that the blouse looks a touch wrinkley though.
ReplyDeleteE.B.B.
