On August 01, 2019, Queen Letizia, Crown Princess Leonor, Infanta Sofia, former Queen Sofia of Spain were seen in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. They went to the Rivoli Aficine Cinema to watch the movie "The Lion King". A few days ago, Queen Sofia had watched the movie "The Lion King" with her granddaughters Victoria Federica de Marichalar and Irene Urdangarin at the same movie theater. Thus, she watched the same movie for the second time for Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia. Queen Letizia wore a new long linen-blend jumpsuit by Mango |
Great colour on Sofia.
ReplyDeleteThe girls are dressed age appropriate, and not too mature.
Love the jumpsuit - perfect summer chic. The Queen looks fabulous. The girls are growing up and look perfect in their casual clothes.
ReplyDeleteI love everything Letizia is wearing from the informal jumpsuit to the espadrilles and "capazo" she looks fantastic. Funny thing is that Queen Sofia wore a very similar outfit when Princess Diana visited the island more than 35 years ago, it just proves that fashion goes back and forth with some tweaks here and there. Sofia looks good and appropriately dressed for her age, and occasion. As usual I don't comment on children's fashion, the girls look so pretty and age appropriate.
ReplyDeleteCierto.
Sigue recibiendo gente, guapetona.
No engañas a nadie.
A lovely family pic. two Queens and Pss. Lovely summer outfits. These are two beautiful girls. Hope they enjoy the time with Gandma.
ReplyDeleteVery lovely casual looks ❤
ReplyDeleteAll the ladies look great. I am wondering though if Queen Sophia saw the Lion King a second time with these ladies in her family. Several other news organizations are reporting that this was just a stroll through the streets. The four of them did a stroll like this last summer too.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering the same thing. I also read that this was a walkabout in the city, not a movie outing.
DeleteRivoli? I've read Ravioli, which is an italian dish...
ReplyDeleteThe queens look good, especially Letizia. The girls look pretty and comfortable, with a much better look than their cousins.
ReplyDeleteNice of Grandma to watch the movie twice to be with her grand kids. lovely outfit on letizia, but her smile is trying hard to show unity with her mother-in-law
ReplyDeleteHow do you know what her smile means? Keep your judgements to yourself.
Deleteyes we have seen that smile before when she is trying to keep up happy appearances.
DeleteThat is in your opinion Anon 10:25. We certainly do not know the real facts as we are not part of their family.
DeleteHi Angie, I finally understood your message. I think that you are right. Judgements on the basis of pictures are always dangerous. The only thing we can occasionally do is to regret "no smile", a smile is always nice. Even if Letizia is trying to repair the damamge of some earlier pictures, she is right to do so IMV. Nobody is 100% perfect!! Remember that!
DeleteThey all look wonderful. Great looks for a casual family outing. (V.M.)
ReplyDelete@Coralie, Rivoli Aficine is one of the oldest movie theaters in Palma, and has nothing to do with ravioli pasta. There are differences in the spelling, perhaps I didn't get your joke?
ReplyDeleteCherry Blossom, I admit it's not a very funny joke - just a proof of how voratious I am. That is because I work too much. In my team there are a lot of young software developers who eat all the time, chocolat bars, cookies...for lunch they order pizza! And believe it or not, they are slim (their sports is going downstairs and smoke). In such an environment it is only logic to mistake Rivoli for Ravioli...
DeleteHaha :-)) @ Coralie, I worked in the same field for some years and I totally get the joke >>their sports is going downstairs and smoke<< 😂
DeleteLovely outfits for all again. Letizia has not put a foot wrong this summer (hope that saying this doesn't lead to something ghastly!) The girls are always smartly dressed and very much age appropriate outfits. Hope they have a great holiday.
ReplyDeleteOut of all the royals, Letizia's style is the closest to my own. I love this jumpsuit and shoes. The girls look very nice, frankly how more girls their age should look. Sofia looks very pulled together and comfortable. A great showing by all.
ReplyDeleteIt's the same for me. I would wear with pleasure majority of the clothes she wears, including this jumpsuit and the white dress she's worn yesterday.
ReplyDeleteI'm shocked at myself for liking Queen (emeritus) Sophia's pants, because normally any kind of print on pants looks wrong to me. This, however, is an exception and a reminder that one should keep an open mind. Queen Letizia looks chic and I can say that even though I hate jumpsuits (the recent wedding in Monaco was a real challenge for me, lol).
ReplyDeleteThe little girls are always beautifully and age-appropriately dressed, for which I guess Letizia deserves much of the credit (somehow I can't imagine her not personally signing off on the outfits her daughters wear in public).
Good taste, good clothes, refinement, distinction - their style.
