| Former King Juan Carlos of Spain had a successful triple bypass surgery this Saturday that was completed without incident. King Felipe VI went to Quiron University Hospital in Madrid with his mother, Queen Sofia, when the operation was completed. As he left the hospital afterwards, King Felipe VI of Spain said he was "very happy" about how the surgery was performed, adding that "everything went perfectly" in a statement to reporters waiting at the hospital entrance. |

ReplyDeleteKing Juan Carlos must do Ok so far since, Q Sofia and King Filipe have been visiting already. I am sure he comes through this with flying colors, he is a tough old man and get the best of care. I wish min the best and a good recovery.

Best wishes to former King Juan Carlos for a speedy recovery. As for fashion, Queen Sofia's pant suit is very nice but looks rather heavy for August. Maybe I equate gray plaids with fall and winter. I love her blouse and scarf. King Felipe looks very handsome, as always. He seems very gracious with the hospital staff and the media.

ReplyDeleteQueen Sofia's outfit is a good one for her. Some times she seems to have so many scarves and beads etc that she is overwhelmed. I'm assuming that, in the summer heat of Madrid, it is made out of a lightweight fabric. The blouse and scarf are nice.
