| On July 1, 2019, The Duchess of Cambridge visited The RHS Back to Nature Garden at Hampton Court Palace in London. The Duchess invited children from four different charities such as Evelina Children's Hospital, the Anna Freud Centre, Action for Children and Place2Be to take part in a treasure hunt and a bug spotting exercise before the garden officially opens to the public at the annual horticultural event on Tuesday. Ich mag dieses einfache Kleid sehr. Es ist übrigens ein Schnitt, in dem viele Frauenfiguren toll aussehen. Eine perfekte Wahl, ich nehme an, auch in England ist es sehr warm! Die Wedges sind Klassiker und die Ohrringe harmonieren auch zum Kleid. Ihr Lächeln ist aber der Gewinner. Und so sollte es auch sein: "Nicht deine Kleider tragen dich, sondern du deine Kleider".

Yeah I agree with Cherry Blossom. What does "her heavy hair is not suitable for contacting children" even mean? Dumbest comment/observation. Her hair looks great, I don't think it needs a cut, she wants it long.

DeleteI try not to join in these conversations where people are criticising others but I think this is a really unkind comment, Anon 4.00. The first language of the poster may not be English I can read/write French, usually manage to get the gist of German comments and occasionally bits of Spanish but I am so impressed with the fluency of those who are competent in several languages.

Well that event looked like it was fun - especially with the warm weather Europe is experiencing. The DoC looked very nice and comfortable in her "summer dress." The espadrilles with this outfit looks so much better than with Sophie's from the other day; and I don't think it has to do with the height difference of the two ladies. Sophie's outfit had a lot going on *without* the strappy espadrilles. Adding them to the mix was just too much.

ReplyDeleteShe is so lovely with children! They seem to enjoy her as much as she enjoys them! And love her hair!! So youthful and pretty. It's always so neat and thick that she can play it off well. Beautiful!

DeleteOh I wish I could have this summer dress, so simple and so WOW. And Catherine is more and more casual the last months. Lately I have to revise my opinion of her that she is too formally with a slightly frozen smile. That pleases me because she is a young royal and the strictness dosn't suit her...

ReplyDeleteI also would like to see her hair, for this look, caught in a pony tail for exemple it would look even more fresh.
But the shoes... the that she chose, IMO are perfect for this look, makes the difference for a perfect casual look.
