| On July 12, 2019, King Juan Carlos, Queen Sofia and Infanta Elena attended a dinner to pay tribute to Spanish Navy at Royal Yacht Club in Sanxenxo. In addition, on the morning of July 12, Queen Sofia visited Food Bank of Vigo to get informaton about its humanitarian work. This food bank in Vigo is one of the food collection centres in Spain that can store frozen and chilled products at its facilities. |

ReplyDeleteNice relaxed outfits on both ladies at the Yacht Club event. I think I. Elena gets her love of jumbled, mismatched accessories from her mother lol. I don’t care for the second outfit on Q. Sophia. It’s too mannish. Maybe a more feminine blouse would complement the blazer better. (V.M.)

DeleteQueen Sofia looks good with that jumper, very festive and I like that she is wearing espadrilles with it, as usual she is carrying a few pounds of trinkets, but that is part of her personality. The second outfit is just appropriate for a woman of her age. I like every piece Elena is wearing, pants and jacket are just ideal for a marine event, but once again she spoils the effect with the gaudy jewelry, the hair doesn't help either.

ReplyDeleteI like Sophia's jumpsuit. Very stylish for her age. Cute shoes, too. Elena looks good as well, until she ruins her outfit with the junky jewelry. I am not sure why they feel the need to pile it on. Jewelry should accessorize and compliment, not distract from your outfit.

ReplyDeleteIn my opinion queen Sofia‘s jumpsuit is not very flattering. The colours are harsh and the pattern is very bold. Elena‘s hair is carefree and youngish. The chain-like necklace is unnecessary.

The Yacht Club attire lacks a feminine touch and draws unnecessary attention to her hair. Princess Elena‘s hair is very carefree and youngish, I like that look. The chunky chain around her neck is somewhat strange.
