Queen Letizia of Spain presided over the opening conference of summer courses of the "International School of Music" of the Princess of Asturias Foundation at Archaeological Museum of Asturias in Oviedo. The International Music School aims to provide top-class musical education with musicians from prestigious teaching centres worldwide. The Queen wore a flower print asymmetric silk midi dress by Maje Paris. |
Letizia usually looks great and rocks it. This is not a hemline I like on anybody, even on Letizia. I like everything from the waist up, especially her earrings.
ReplyDeleteNice colour and pattern, but had been better with an even hem at knee length and shorter sleeves. With big florals all over and in an eye-catching colour, I think it's better to keep additional features at a minimum and not cover up in too much fabric as that quickly becomes too much.
ReplyDeleteI like the defined waist for structure but not neccessarily the elastic.

ReplyDeleteLovely and pretty floral print; I love it.
ReplyDeleteWow! Beautiful dress and earrings!!
ReplyDeleteLovely, as usual. I particularly like the last picture of her smiling while surrounded by the children.
ReplyDeleteStunning. She is really wonderful and beautiful
ReplyDeleteNice dress minus the hemline. Color is great and so are her earrings.
ReplyDeleteI really like the color, I like the pattern, the sleeves for me are just OK, the elastic on the waist, for me no, but I imagine it with one large belt and I think I would love it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful dress. The hemline makes the style, without it, that will only be just another floral dress.
ReplyDeleteOn point 👍
DeleteI agree - it is so beautiful and fanciful! It looks like she could float away.
DeleteI agree so much!
DeleteWell said !
ReplyDeleteLike many of the posters above, I am not very keen on the uneven hem or the long tight sleeves. However, I like both the colour, the pattern and the overall style. It's not quite at the top of her game, but still a lovely dress and still keeps her well at the top of best dressed royals list
DeleteI love the hemline, it is the modern and chic part of tve dress, if not it would be another boring dress...I want one for me...
DeleteWhat a pity? Is it not embarrassing to the country that your Queen peruses sale items of fast fashion retailers looking for good buys? The yellow press makes a habit of totalling how much she spent on clothes even though it is a fraction of what is spent in other royal houses. In spite of that she still manages to be praised for her style at the international level. Conversely the same press praises the others as elegant and appropriate when they wear pricey clothing.
DeletePicture 9 shows the true beauty of the asymmetrical hem when it is constructed from a lightweight fabric. The rest, on point.
ReplyDeleteLovely dress for the summer. Good fit and style.
ReplyDeleteMost royals are on holidays but Letizia still works a lot. Spain is lucky to have her!
I like everything about this dress except the hemline.
ReplyDeleteThe hemline is the best of the dress, as a handkerchief, the rest is as any other dress
DeleteNow that is how you wear nude shoes!
