On July 22, 2019, Queen Letizia of Spain attended presentation ceremony of the World Sustainable Urban Food Centre of València (CEMAS) held at the building La Base at the Marina of València, Spain. CEMAS is a joint initiative between the Valencia City Council and the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO) to promote, manage and disseminate sustainable food actions in cities worldwide. (Queen Letizia wore a red lace midi dress by Carolina Herrera.) |
Beautiful, beautiful dress. Loved it before, love it still! The shoes are great as well. Superb
ReplyDeleteAgree!
DeleteLooks good but I also like her in a dress with sleeves whatever the length.
ReplyDeleteAt least, her arms are not quite as skinny as they used to be.
DeleteAgreed. We all know she has toned arms but don't need to see it all the time.
DeleteIn Spain she has been criticised due to wearing sleeves in summer..., so I'm afraid she gave up wearing them.
DeleteAnony 10:03, really? Why criticize?
DeleteVery sad.
If my arms looked like hers, I would wear sleeveless much of the time too.
DeleteIn Spain sleeves are seen as odd in summer, not even at 70 years old women wear them. I do not understand so much "covered up" ...our culture is more modern...and our weather allows it..
DeleteAnon 3:28, very sad?? It is our culture and weather...at 38 celsius degrees no body is so covered...I find sad the sleeves and tights dinosaur comments..
DeleteWhat a beautiful repeat featuring clean lines and perfect structure. A fun fact is that one of her girls has a mini version of this dress. Picture 7 shows of her best feature, those eyes. Another great cause that needs more publicity.
Buen ojo, Anon 3:02 ;)

Love it! Letizia in Carolina Herrera can do no wrong.
ReplyDeleteOne of the best lace dresses I've seen. The fitted bodice and the flared skirt accentuate Queen Letizia's lean but toned frame. The red is perfect for her complexion and hair, and the shoes and earrings complete the look. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteCarolina Herrera and Letizia are a match made in Heaven.
ReplyDeletejust what I thought
DeleteAnon 8:44, no entiendes inglés no?
DeleteEsta guapisima !
ReplyDeleteThat's by no means a 'midi' dress. Sophie Wessex wears midi dresses. This length here is perfect, like a beautiful dress should be, not too short, not long by any means, just perfect.
ReplyDeleteA midi dress by definition falls halfway between the knee and ankle. Sophie actually wears a maxi dress many times.
DeleteSimply fantastic. Gorgeous look!
ReplyDeleteI like this clean and classic look, great dress, she always looks good with it.
ReplyDeleteI saw some critics saying that the purse she is wearing have the worse color for this look, but I like it, it's a soft pink and sometimes looks like cream and for me gives some softness to this red look.
Love everything about this look - her dress, its color, hair, earrings, shoes, clutch. Wonderful looks from Queen Letizia!
ReplyDeleteAgree.
DeletePerfect!
ReplyDeleteCynthia, I for one love to see her arms... nothing wrong with wearing sleeveless dresses. I admire people that have the discipline to work out and maintain a healthy figure. Years ago she was ridiculed by the trolls for having very skinny arms , well, looks to me that she has achieved a fantastic balance. Letizia rocks the arms!!!!!
Tolle Frau!
ReplyDeleteAs always great look.
ReplyDeleteI love, love this dress! She knows what looks good on her body type.
