On July 4, 2019, Britain's Queen Elizabeth II visited Gorgie City Farm in Edinburgh on the final day of Holyrood Week 2019. Gorgie City Farm was a waste depot until the 1930s, and later a civil defence training area during the war - it has now been transformed into an outdoor resource. The farm grows a range of fruit and veg, and even supplies some local shops and restaurants with its produce. |
1. Ich liebe die Details des Hutes.
ReplyDelete2. Ich liebe das Foto der paradierenden Ente.
3. Ich liebe es zu sehen, wie die Queen ihr Leben genießt.
Queen Elizabeth always looks lovely in this colour. It's the first time I'm recalling seeing large lily buds on her hat - but good for her, lol! :)
ReplyDeleteI watched the YT video of this visit and I have to say, it's one of the most charming and heart warming things I've watched in a long time. She seems positively thrilled to be among all the farm animals and the children who made and gave her gifts.
The Queen looks very nice today. This soft green looks lovely on her. Well Olive the duck got her 5sec. of fame too, by escorting the Queen.I hope the Q enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteIs het geen tijd dat ze haar werk doorgeeft aan haar zoon, zodat ze naast haar man rustig aan de tv kan zitten.
ReplyDeleteBrightening up a dull Scottish summer day. The Queen looks great here once again.
