| On July 27, 2019, Saturday, King Carl Gustaf presented this year's Themed Gardens awards to the winners of the competition with a ceremony held at Solliden Castle Park. Queen Silvia also attended the ceremony. Themed Gardens competition is held for the fifth time this year. This year's theme was "Balcony Life". The competition aims to add a new dimension to the palace grounds and to give visitors inspiration and new ideas. |
The first photo is a lovely one with all the greens/flowery colors. However, when I looked at the rest, the red-tipped shoes set the wrong tone, as do the white baggy pants. The queen is lovely as ever.

ReplyDeleteI really like this - the blouse is pretty and I like the loose flowing trousers. I don't the shoes totally go but people probably weren't looking at her feet too much.
