The queen and Victoria look lovely. Sophia’s dress is beautiful as is Madeleine’s ensemble. Sophia’s shoes look horrid though they are very on trend.
ReplyDeleteI disagree. Sophia's shoes are perfect for an outdoor event, and they are sensible to walk on the turf. Look how uncomfortable Madeleline's high heels look compared to Sophia's.

ReplyDeleteLovely dresses all around.Love that the Queen and the CPss wear the national dress. Madeleine's outfit may be a little to festive,? but I do like Sofia's summer dress,every one including the men look good. Happy 42nd Birthday to Pss Victoria.

DeletePrincess Sofia's look is young and fresh. That ruffle around the bottom is a nice touch. Her choice of shoe detracts, however. Seems anything that cuts across the foot at the ankle is clumsy-looking. Chris O'Niell seems utterly bored and, to me, would rather be anywhere else.

DeleteChris isn't used to limelight like the members of SRF. So he may feel rather uncomfortable/shy by all the media attention he gets during these events. Sofia was in the reality show, posed for the pictures, so she was already used to the cameras and attention.

ReplyDeleteI don't think they ever dress that way here. Not sure why. I know that all the women do for National Day. The men do not dress in traditional dress for anything.
DeleteLike Sofia’s hair and dress but her earrings aren’t my favorite. Like her choice of shoe however wish the wedges were one of the bright colors from her dress. Madeleine looks beautiful as always but her outfit isn’t what I would pick for an outdoor concert.

ReplyDeleteSchöne Bilder - Danke Hellen Elektra! Trachten als kulturelles Erbe finde ich wunderbar. Seltsamerweise stehen sie allen Frauen ausgesprochen gut (ich denke da auch an die (echten!) Dirndl in der Alpenregion)! Prinzessin Sofia sieht wunderschön aus. Auf Foto 6 ist sie einfach ein Traum. Die Haare? Das Make-up? Der Ohrschmuck? Vielleicht alles zusammen. Ihr Sommerkleidchen mit den Espadrilles ist die perfekte Wahl für einen Sommerabend auf Öland. Madeleine finde ich etwas zu overdressed und washed out, was ihrer Schönheit aber nichts anhaben kann. Ein bezaubernd schwedischer Abend.

ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the outfit Madeleine is wearing but I don't think I could manage heels so high. But she walks like a pro :D And her hair look absolutely gorgeous.

Princess Madeleine wore a sweater with a tulle midi skirt both by CATHERINE HAMMEL. I really love this delicate-looking sweater. I would never have though to match it with a tulle skirt but it works so well and gives her a romantic and soft look. Her hair and earrings were perfectly matched with her outfit. Wonderful look from her.
