très jolie princesse Elisabeth !
ReplyDeleteMommy was wearing a similar dress yesterday. I bet mother and daughter bought the same dress, one in light pink and other in dark pink.
ReplyDeleteMummy's dress was a long one. I like Elisa's dress very much, except the extra long sleeves.
Deleteits the same design in the neck and sleeves. they definately have the same test
DeleteElisabeth's dress is from Nathan, Mathilde's from Erdem.
DeleteSo no, the dresses are not the same.
Elisabeth is stunning!!!
ReplyDeleteLove how Princess Elisabeth is pulling the blue from her outfit for her accessories.
ReplyDeleteLike Mathildes dress. It's lovely. But the hat is just no. Too big and her face can't be seen properly. Personally it would drive me crazy always having that thing in my vision.
ReplyDeleteQueen Mathilde's outfit today is beautiful--both dress and hat but Princess Elisabeth is the star. The dress is lovely and her shoes are gorgeous. She looks amazing. And isn't Prince Gabriel now such a handsome young man?
ReplyDeletePrince Daniel is certainly handsome, and he is now a very tall young man. What has happened to his foot? The rest of the family members lok nice too.
Delete👍👍
DeleteAgree about Elisabeth, AnnieM. A little mature perhaps, but she can have it. She is a real beauty too!
DeleteAnd yes, Gabriel is a handsome prince!
They all look gorgeous . Q Mathilde just stunning.
ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful family. They seem very much at peace with themselves and everyone around. Nothing ostentatious, very kind and involved, just as a royal family ought to be in my opinion.

I like all of theire styles. But CP Elisabeth looks fabulous. Here make up is minimalistic and beautyful, her accessoires gave her the modern touch. Bravo!
ReplyDeleteLace dresses, especially for daytime events, are not to my liking. The Queen's dress is a pretty color, although it looks more autumn-y than summery. I do, however, think the fit and length are spot on. Her hat appears to be so many layers of fabric arranged haphazardly on her head. I love Princess Elisabeth's dress and shoes. She is very stylish.
ReplyDeleteDe monarchie van de toekomst.
ReplyDeleteI like both Mathilde's and Elisabeth's dresses. Smart, well fitting and appropriate to the occasion.
ReplyDeleteDon't like Mathilde's hat - out of proportion and too similar to a pair of leaves stuck together and propped on her head for shade.
Don't like Elisabeth's choice of shoes for this event - they seem more suited for evening wear in my opinion. But more than that, they seem a little awkward on her (to me). She looks pretty however.

Beautiful family! The ladies look fabulous!
ReplyDeleteMathilde, please don't be a Maxima, leave the ginormous hats to her. Her flamboyant style doesn't become you.
ReplyDeleteMaxima certainly does not have a patent on large hats. Several women (Camilla, Anne, Sophie) from the British royal family have worn large hats and have looked great! Mathilde looks wonderful here. The dress, hat and gloves make for a chic look.
DeleteMaxima wears her oversize hats for any and all occasions, formal, informal, joyous, somber. I'll give Mathilde a pass for this once, it's not really a hat, more like a huge fascinator. It's very pretty, by the way, just not "Mathilde".
DeleteAgree with Anon 11:43 and yes, Lizzia, Maxima wears them for all these occasions showing that it is way overdone.
DeleteI can't believe how tall Gabriel is, not to mention how handsome.
ReplyDeleteIl souffre toujours de son pied gauche .
DeleteFully agree. Some accident with his left foot?
DeleteIndeed. Gabriel is a charismatic young prince.
DeleteWhat a lovely Royal Family. The King and Queen have done a great job with their children. Love Mathildes dress lace always looks good, the color is nice too. Elisabeth's dress is just right for this occasion love the shoes and bag.I believe Q Mathilde wore a dress like hers yesterday for the concert. The suits on the boy's are well fitted. Eleonore looks a lot like her sister, nie color dress.
ReplyDeleteLike queen Mathilde’s outfit except for the hat which just looks a little weird. Princess Elisabeth looks lovely. Like that she kept her hair and makeup minimal.
ReplyDeleteYes, the hat is too big in my opinion, it is really overshadowing her face.
DeleteElisabeth's shoes are totally wrong in every way. Wrong for a church visit, wrong for daytime event, wrong for a teenager. Colour's wrong too, the bold blue way too strong and totally overpowering the delicate blue flower details in her dress. I find the shoes very distracting. Her dress ist nice but had been even better with shorter sleeves.
ReplyDelete- Vanessa
Vanessa, personally, I love the shoes and think they are perfect for a teenager, smart and high without being clumsy or ungainly and just on the right side of formality. I also think they match her bag and dress very well. You clearly disagree which is fine but I am curious to know why you think they are wrong as opposed to just not liking them
DeleteAnnieM, she has clearly stated in much detail why she thinks they are wrong (and she is entitled to her opinion as you yourself have stated). Read her post again, unless you are not understanding the meaning of what she is saying.
DeleteWell I can of course elaborate.
DeleteElisabeth's shoes are strappy sandals with a very high narrow heel in bright blue. They are nice shoes but they are also very eye-catching, rather sexy and suited only for evening puposes. I think they are too loud/bold for church, they are too sexy for a teenager, they don't match the dress (neither colour nor style). The shoes match her bag, thats true, but that doesn't make them a good choice since they still clash in every other way.
Of course this is my opinion and I don't claim to be right. But I wrote that they are wrong because they were a poor choice, not because I don't like them. On a,say, 24year old young woman, wearing a sexy bold-coloured dress to
summer night cocktail party, they would have looked smashing.
Vanessa
PS I must say though that Elisabeth walks really well in those shoes, which most 17 year olds can't.
Well said, Vanessa. I agree with you.
DeleteI don't think they're a poor choice. I love it. Sick and tired of women thinking certain shoes belong is certain places or events. If she wants to wear a sandal than she can. A strappy high heeled sandal isn't necessarily "sexy" either. I love she picked an actual color, that is also actually in the dress. I don't see how it clashes. She matched it which is great. She's thinking outside the norm which I think we all need to get used to. It's 2019 and these royal rules of dress need to adapt. Also it's just a church, I've seen people in sandals, tank tops, shorts doesn't matter.
ReplyDeleteGood luck to the king and queen (mum and dad) trying the next few years with kids who look like that and have the titles and connections. They will be the most eligible single royal people in the world.
ReplyDeleteMy 2 cents, nothing to do with fashion: living with teenagers is hell, most of the time, but I think these kids are really well behaved, and the parents, owing to their circumstances, are not likely to have to put up with too much teenage angst and rebellion. As for their eligibility, the same could be said about the children of the royal families of Denmark, Norway, Spain.
ReplyDeletejoven
CP Elisabeth - one word: WOW!!!
ReplyDeleteFor me she is the best dressed young princess in her age group. Always stunning and age-appropriate, not too much make-up. Very classy and charming.
All lovely but Elisabeth wins for me - she is growing up into an attractive and composed young women with her own sense of style. I think Claire overdoes it a bit with the red hat.
So königlich!
