Yesterday, Queen Margrethe II arrived in Graasten with the Royal yacht Dannebrog to spend her summer holiday and the Crown Prince family, who are currently in Graasten Palace, welcomed The Queen. Kongehuset shared on its social media accounts a few photos showing together Queen Margrethe, Crown Prince Frederik, Crown Princess Mary, Prince Christian, Princess Isabella, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine, taken on the same day.

    Ach, das sind aber mal wirklich nette Fotos einer sehr sympathischen Familie.
    Und ich staune, wie erwachsen Prinz Christian in den letzten Monaten geworden ist, der sah doch Anfang des Jahres noch viel kindlicher aus.

      That's why people often say to parents, "Don't blink or you will miss their entire childhood." :-) It's true.

      I remember walking on the beach with my late mother and my brother and we encountered a young mom struggling with her super excited toddler son and bouncing infant daughter. My mother went up to her and told her, "I know you've got your hands full right now in this moment but, still try to enjoy it because before you know it, those two will be like my two." and my mom pointed to us her fully grown children; me and my 6'4" 200 lb. brother. :D

    Very lovely photo of the family.Christian and Isabella really grew a lot. Josephine and Vincent are their cute selves. The Queen looks lovely,looking forward to everyone at Graasten.Mary and Fredrick look relaxed.

    I remember the old photos & videos from Gråsten when Margrethe's eight grandkids were small and ran around or had meltdowns; it was always interesting. So go the years. Lovely photos, nice casual "vacation" clothes; they all look happy and relaxed.

    This is your Danish royal family now. I wouldn't be surprised if Joachim & Marie do not return from France - Benedikte & Anne-Marie moved on, so will Joachim. Perhaps he promised Marie a move back to France. In any event, these people are the future of Denmark.
